I'm new to the game, and I'm having trouble with the controls on one of the missions.

I'm supposed to place girders to get to a switch to turn on the ice machine. but after i pickup the girders, i cant move to where i want to place them because the girders take over the controls, and i cant un-select them.

is there a way to un-select the girders on that mission? it's the only weapon, so i can't just go to bazooka or something.

I play on the Mac platform, same controls as PC i assume.

EDIT: NM i found another weapon that allowed me to move.

To un-select the glinders press BACK-SPACE
