Everyone vote who is, in your opinion, the best artist in the forum. I know you may argue that each forumer is different so therefore they are uncomparable but just do it for the hell of it. It'll be a bit of fun and this thread will die soon after. In a month or so I will post another thread with the result or just add it to the end of this one, who knows. As the maximum poll options is 10, I guess I will have to pick the 10 best in my mind, which are currently drawing. Sorry, all the old people who don't seem to be drawing anymore, e.g. Made In etc.

Oh well, i just got bored and did this for a bit of fun. Not meant to be taken too seriously or anything.

PONK! I voted Slick in the end. Even though Splapp is winning by fartloads.

The way I see it:

Worms Community Golden Age: 1997-1999 (aka "Before My Time"). W2 release to era of disillusionment due to lack of WA patches or a fix for the WormNet ranking system. Sites such as The Allotment and the Worms Community Message Board reign supreme.

Worms Community Silver Age: 2002-2003 (aka "Before Your Time"). T17F's specific Golden Age, I suppose. Work finally begins on new WA patch, T17F community heavily involved in making Worms 3D. People like Nutter and Worm Mad still posted, things like Worms Stories happened, I kept that FAQ updated. General good stuff.

What now is depends on your point of view. Work on the WA patch progresses well, and in that sense there's more optimism than before. Certain other areas aren't so good.

Why the *hell* am I there? Why not Traxada, Agent Smit, jJar, Gardy, Doomworm, all those people deserving credit for actually being talented and putting effort into their work? My Worms stuff has never been good. I've only recently done some half decent art (which isn't team 17 related at all) but I can't even get it up since my digital camera broke down.

To this day, I have no idea why people liked those comics. It was just a way for me to use every joke, no matter how silly or childish, but I guess that's what made it interesting. Right now I couldn't make a comic like that, mostly because I'm extremely self critical. Back then I never considered the fact that my jokes or art might just be ****ty, so I could just use whatever came to mind as a plotline. :p
