Hey all;

Not wanting to hijack the already estabilished GamerTag thread but I thought it would be an idea to collate a list of Team17 staff that will be around on Xbox Live and are happy to get involved in a game or 2 with anyone who fancies it.

As previously mentioned by Spadge, please remember we are just normal gamers too and that when online we are there to chill out and relax in our spare time so try not to bombard anyone with multiple nags/game requests etc. :D

In fairness i worked out the technique in which to clear this challenge so quickly. All you're doing is perfecting my method.

Might be kinda hard to play with people from Europe when we're over here in the US. This thread was made at 6:00 AM here. I mean, it's 10:00 here now and in England it's 2:00 AM. Kinda hard to play when there's a 4 hour difference ;)...well...hard for me. I have school. I'm sure that you're all interested in my daily schedule but I've gotten this off-topic enough.

Just a question, how long do you guys stay at work until? If it's any time past 6 PM EST (I hope you're not working 12 hours a day) then I can play. All I can hope is you guys play this game at home, too.

I think I feel like writing a lot today. Or maybe it's cause it's the devs of Worms ("But we're regular people"...yeah, right, lol). Either way, I need to go to bed. (Oop, there I go with my schedule again)

Pretty much all of the devs on the list play from home, except for the producer's machine (Chin Tinsel) which gets some after hours action anyway.

Spadge, another guy, and I all played ranked matches the other day. It was one of the better times I had on XBL.

First time checking the worms board since release..

Think I beat at least one or two of ya. pmr17 I'm nearly positive I beat.

I made my way up to the top 20-30 on trueskill but had some bad luck since then along with hardly any time to play :( so I've fallen a bit. I haven't checked in awhile but I figure I'm 200-300.

The leaderboards better not get reset! I'm ranked #1 right now! My tag is PostNatalD. I busted my butt to win over 100 matches in a row to get to number 1. Can't even tell you the pain I went through to make it there.

What really sucks is when I have like 40+ matches won in a row, and then all of the sudden right when I launch a game, it'll say session no longer available and my Trueskill rank drops down in a big big way. That's SO frustrating. Ugh. When that happens it means I have to literally win 40+ more matches in a row in order to get that spot I had just lost, and to top it off, the match could just drop again as soon as I launch it at any given time. It's nerve-racking. Just because the game session ended right when we launch it doesn't mean it should HURT my Trueskill rank! Geeeeeez!

Pain? Games were supposed to be fun! Congrats on getting to the number 1 spot though, I don't believe I have had you a game. To be fair the way TrueSkill is calculated here seems very harsh, I too have played say 30 games in a row, usually all wins to find that my rank has stayed the same. I've had a look at Microsoft's TrueSkill formula and you basically need a maths degree to work it out!

Well guys, the only reason it was a pain was because when sometimes I launched a game, it would end immediately as the game launched, and that would knock my Trueskill rank down a good 40 wins basically. Now that is a pain! I'm bustin my buttocks to win a ton of ranked matches in a row only to have one get dropped and my trueskill plummet. Other than that I have a blast.

Well in order to get back the rank I lost, I have to win at least 40 more games in a row to make up for the "session no longer available" BS. It didn't say I lost 40 games, but my Trueskill rank sure does seem to think so. :mad:
