Ok, well first off I have V3.50B2 it says and below that it says Buffalo of Lies Indigo build. ...I'm not sure what that means.

Now when I go into the Wormnet I can look at things and see the games and people talking but when I try to join a game it says that I have an incompatible version, and to install a patch from team17's website I think.

I'm pretty sure I have the US version because when I downloaded the patch it gave me the "no cd" error. So, is there another patch to install, or what should I do?

You'll need the update [not patch] to play online. It also has some pretty nifty features that you'll want to educate yourself about. Instructions, download links and a short list of those can all be found here:

You need to install the update, not the patch. There's a subtle but important difference.

Ugh, well actually now that I did that it says it needs the cd to work.

I guess he doesnt if he gets no cd error..there is way to bypass this too but cant tell it..

If he gets a no CD error
1) He incorectly updated the trymedia version
2) He has a pirated no-cd exe with no-cd coding (the update replaces the exe)
3) IIRC this will happen, he patched (3.0) a pre-patched version
