Hokay, people, this month we got 9 entries. Now I'll proceed to critizise all of them. >:-)

Can't really critizise the drawings or the style, it is a very nicely done entry, but you could have touched it up a little in an image editing program, perhaps fiddle with the contrast as the shading is a bit too dark, makes some details hard to see. 8/10
mariodizzy (http://img467.imageshack.us/img467/3898/mariodizzydp8.png)- I had to login to DA to be able to see your entry, not fun :p. Uploaded it on imageshack so people can have an easier time seeing your entry. I must say this doesn't really fit on the rules I set, it seems like an ordinary simple comic styled entry done in paint rather than pulling your best effort. I have nothing else to say really.5/10
Gardy Looo (http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/49604814/)- I really liked this entry, it's quite original, and has nice attention to detail. The only thing missing is the robots on the grass casting a shadow on the grass, which would make it look slightly better. The grass effect is also not that great. And the pit in the middle could have been darket towards the bottom. The background is simplistic but I like it that way. 8/10
Pigbuster (http://img91.imageshack.us/my.php?image=zombibcx9.jpg)- Awesome. The skin effect you used it really nifty, and the intestine comming out is just sheer class. Great blood effects too. I honestly can't find anything that could be done better. 10/10
Alien King (http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/49762266/)- Well what can I say. Nice try I guess. The proportions are all distorted, has a very confusing lighting and the composition of the image is hardly right. Still I can see you really tried so kudos for that. 7/10
philby4000 (http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/49727927/)- :eek:. Just effing awesome. The lighting seems spot-on, the worms look so lively and the overall composition of the image is very likeable. 10/10
Akuryou13 (http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/49805230/)- Huh. The worms do look less stiff than before, and I like the stuff going on in the picture. The smoke effects look out of place, and the texture of the terrain looks rather plain. The water is bad too :p. Still, a very nice effort, and kudos for trying something new. 8/10
Metal Alex (http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/49855310/)- Woah really nicely done. It's not exactly the best 3d ever, but it really fits the image well and gets the job done. 9/10
Vader (http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/49977030/)- Excelent entry! Altough the shading of the worm closest to the camera doesn't make sense, it looks as if light is comming from bellow but it's casting a shadow as if it comes from the worm's front. I still liked it a lot. 9/10

Oh and I wasn't telling maveristef off for it being a pencil drawing. I was just pointing out it was a pencil drawing, I like to point out the obvious. I like pencil drawings.
Oh and I also meant more that I had to login to deviant art because mariodizzy'z entry was matured out and I coulnd't look at it unless I logged in, which made me had to actually reset my DA password and stuff. I don't mind DA at all.

I don't want to just choose one, I want to choose them all. I feel bad not voting for some of them because they're all great.

Ah well, if I really MUST choose one winner, it's Philby for me. I just love that picture.

I'm glad you liked it. :)

The reason for the dodgy shading is two-fold. Firstly, I was still trying to work it out. Secondly, the flame is the light-source and his shield is casting a shadow (Although I hadn't worked through the process of making it look right).

It's a difficult one to do. I'll finish it eventually but it will probably still look a bit off. ;)

Oh, I voted for Gardy because I really like the design and hands. Also, a nice concept.

I vote for Pigbuster, it's just so nice to see something original.

Although Philby's does win the awesomeness award.

OHOHO I'm gonna LOSE and I knew I would. :p

of philby and pigbuster's images, I love both, but philby's just attracts my eye more.

A great deal of them were brilliant, but my favorites were Phillby and Gardy's entries. The latter had some really impressive character/mech designs which amazed me. There was also some very impressive shading and perspective work there.

However, Phillby's picture was truly epic and felt perfect in my opinion. Detail, shading, perspective, facial expressions... everything makes it one of the most impressive pieces of Worms fanart I've seen here.
