Hi, out of interest when worms comes out on Wednesday what will you all name your team and your worms?

I don't know what I'm going to name my Worms, but I am afraid of some of the creations I'm going to see online. I won't be offended, mind you, but I know there's going to be a lot of kids playing this too.

I'll probably use my old Worms 2 team name I used to use ages ago on the servers..

I tend to call my team 'Icey Dragoons (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dragoon)' when I play any Worms game, still not decided on worm names yet, I will ponder over it during the uni lecture on Wednesday. Won't be back to play until 5-6pm or so, bit of a pain that :(

Just kidding though - I always thought that was taking the game too seriously when people did that. I took my handle from the Iron Maiden song "Wrathchild", and usually I name the team "Iron Maidens". I name the worms from different songs.

Yes there are language filters it's an MS requirement as is user blockage preferences for user created content so the more sensitive amoungst us can avoid being offended :D

This team I established since Worms 1 Amiga. Every game of worms, afterwards, I had at least this team in there.

My Worms AGA Director's Cut was the one I put the most time in. I actually filled an entire Zip Disk with custom Worms AGA Director's Cut stuff for my Amiga A1200. Self-made and downloaded levels, schemes, voice packs (some self-crafted). etc. It was huge. I even made a neat Amiga Workbench level to frolick in. Very nice for Ninja Roping.

Anyway, I'll also mention a few individual *so far culmulated* in-game achievements of them. (That is, in this version of the game, so far)

Team: Addams
Worm 1: Gomez (Best shot. Seems to be successful at hurting multiple worms by Bazooka and hitting them into each other, so that after the damage is done, a worm loses all its health blows up, and damages the next. Obtained rank by worm-death chain reactions. He's a "take it for the team" man, and is often one of the first to go *after* he makes his mark.)

Worm 2: Morticia (The workhorse. She's made the occasional mistake, but she's also the one to handle the regular *reckless* pace of worm warfare. If anything, she does the most work when the middle game approaches, after Gomez makes the entrance. A shame, because Gomez probably would love to stick around longer after she speaks french. "Au monsieur")

Worm 3: Wednesday (Most valuable, but most likely to find cover. When things go a little bad, she normally steps in to redeem the Addams family name. She will still eat girl-scout cookies *only* if they're made from real girl-scouts)

Worm 4: Pugsley (Last shot boy. He may not have many achievements, but he generally is *the finisher*. He's ended a good percentage of the games with the last kill)
