March 7th!

Microsoft have announced Worms this morning and it'll appear on 360 XBLA on Wed March 7th, for 800points ($10/£7/10Euros - roughly).

More details and information will be coming.

Myself and few Teamsters will be away at GDC (Game Developers' Conference) when it's launched but don't worry, you'll hear the celebrations in San Francisco from wherever you're sat when it goes live...

Just enjoy. No falling out and squabbling.

I'd just that forum players get on each others friends lists and compare scores on the leaderboards!

I love the early announcement. I guess all of our voices have been heard the past couple of weeks when it wasn't coming. (Even though a lot of the complainers didn't know that it wasn't out of certification yet.) I'll bet MS is as happy as anyone that this is finally being released, save for Team 17 themselves.

No, I meant the process of getting things up there, that's not something we can do on a whim, unfortunately.

It might help scrolling through the arcade list entirely instead of just looking to the new releases. Don't know if it is there yet but with some other stuff on the marketplace there is sometimes a difference where it appears first..

All servers should run off GMT - trust MS to screw that up if they couldn't quote two time zones and have them match up.

Also, just to point out, connections don't seem to be that great right about now, So do expect a few matches that failed to start.
Hopefully, it should just be the early rush kinda thing!

Is there only 1 music track in 360's version? ... I loved the various tracks on PC versions.

There is. It basically loops continuously, with a break inbetween repeats (actually it's probably pre-recorded dead space just to space it out between plays). It's not bad, but I can understand one may want to change it. You can use the Custom Soundtrack feature, of the 360, to replace that song with any other background music you want, since basically, it'll play in the same fashion (plus the option of having a playlist to play different songs, back to back).
