The game installed succesfully, but in every atempt of runing it I get a black screen instantly. I tried uninstalling, reinstalling and also installing the updates, but none of those helped...

I also tried the automatic installation software (nice indeed) available at http://madewokherd.nfshost.com/worms/unwain.exe but the results were the same.

I have Windows xp pro, core duo 1.6ghz, ATI Radeon x1400, 1 gig RAM, latest drivers...

Any ideas? Thanks in advance .

By the way, when the black screen appears it can be terminated without rebooting by pressing ctrl+alt+supr followed by two times alt+f (in spanish version of windows, probably alt+t in the english one)...

Try this:

Find the WA shortcut you sue the most.
Right click it.
Go to properties.
In the target box, OUTSIDE the quotes type /nointro so the box looks like (for example, yours will be diferent if you use a path that's not default):
"C:\Team17\Worms Armageddon\wa.exe" /nointro

Press OK

Try it now (make sure you use the same shortcut)
