I googled forum and it had about 3 results and then it said:
See results for: forum snowboards (http://www.google.com/search?q=forum+snowboards&revid=479577786&sa=X&oi=revisions_inline&ct=revision&cd=1)

then it had loads of snowboarding forums. WTF? Why the hell does it think I want snowboarding forums!?

EDIT: Here's a zoomed out screenie in opera without menu bars:

EDIT2: WTF???? The forum software turned it into a JPG!!!!

I'm far more interested in the Gumtree chatrooms.

-EDIT- I checked the site and it's not actually about gum trees at all. That's a dissapointment. The humour is lost. I have failed.

I don't get it.
Which results were you expecting to get with the keywords forum snowboards?

The #1 is obviously the snowboard brand name "Forum", followed by lots of stores and community pages that probably list the same brand name.

No, he means he searched for "forum" and it gave him snowboarding sites. I think what you have noticed that he didn't though, is that Forum is a brand of snowboards, which would explain why.

This is very strange. However, I searched forum on Google and got 88,800,000 results consisting of different forums.
Then again, I have not heard of the Opera internet browser.

It's not strange, M3ntal over there has pretty much explained why this happened. There is a brand of snowboards named "Forum" so when you search "forum" on google, it'll suggest that you were perhaps aiming for Forum snowboards.

And I don't think it being displayed in Opera has any effect at all.
What does affect the results is which language you are viewing Google in, for example, if I go to Google Mexico and search for forum, it doesn't display the snowboards thing.

It's only ggogle.com that does it.

That reminds me of something in "Loads More Lies to tell Small Kids":
If you type the word 'Google' into Google...

...the resultant 'logic loop' will cause reality to fold in on itself and the universe will collapse into an infinitely dense dot
