A new scheme is born today, a creation by me and GreeN which came out of complete boredom in a wxw. Everyone enjoy

FLY RACE

Or Flopper, as I prefer to call it.

The aim is to get through each of the orange 'gates' by doing the rope trick which is written near it. To do this you must attack your rope to the red patches on the map. The moves include spike, shadow, mexi, dragon, skidow & more.

example: attach the rope to one of those red patches and spike through the gap.

The first player to complete the map by reaching the finish is the winner.




Rules

1. One worm per team.
2. Teleport to start as usual.
3. You must attach rope to red when trying to clear a gate.
4. To make it legit, you must get through without touching orange walls.
5. If you fail on one, you must go back and do it again.


In the attached zip is the map and scheme. I might post a replay later if you like.

I've been playing for 6 months and I've never heard of a skidow? Someone please post an example.

I had a quick game and, though I wasn't roping very well, I hope it demonstrates the gametype fairly well. 'Tis lots of fun. :)

That's what a skidow is? Why did they even make it a trick?

Actually, I'd never heard of it either, I just assumed that was the way to do it.

So I can reshoot the rope once I have cleared the orange gate? :confused:

I always wanted to call fly shopper "flopper" but then I read Urban Dictionary and it changed my mind. They have euphemisms for everything there... :o Sounds fun though, I will give it a go in a bit. ;)

Make sure to bump this thread and attack the maps when you do. If you casually upload it to wmdb.org it won't get noticed.

Most obvious change is the red rectangle for the Skidow now makes it easier

tbh I found going up through those three gates the hardest part xD

Were we supposed to long rope that? I just randomly swung my worm up them and got lucky.

Damn I love this scheme :D !!!

I like it because it's a nice scheme to play in between (when I'm ****ed off cause I suck ) and because it helps u improve ur skillz ! (newbies should play this scheme as the "most" tricks are very helpful to speed up ur roping)

The only problem is the lack of maps which is why I will attempt to make some but this will take a while as it takes quite long to make precise and hence fun maps !!


I hope more ppl will start making maps for this scheme!

What is an inlaw/outlaw? The rrkit.com page has gone down and now I don't know where to see tricks from. The free style clan roping site only has advanced techniques, not commonly used rrkit ones.

The easiest way to learn that is to go online and ask who's a good roper, and if they'll have a warmer with you to teach you some tricks.
