i don't quite know what Team17 do these days apart from constant Worms sequels. but would it be not a cool idea to invest time in a timeless classic

if a new Alien Breed 3D game that was based on say the doom 3 engine. with all the timeless classic weopons (Rebounder) and gameplay from the first alien breed to tower assault, (level destruct/computer access etc). and maybe even multiplayer co operative play for a gauntlet style gameplay, then IT Would Be the Coolest Game In the WORLD!! :-)

Team17 used to make some Awsome Games on the Amiga platfom, so ill drive over to Wakefield (i was born there :) ) and kick sum Butt lol

T17 have licensed the Unreal 3 engine. ;)

unreal 3 engine is good tho resource intensive. tho my personal fave was the doom 3 engine i think the per pixel lighting is/was better and for an alien breed type game i think it would be a better choice, but hey if its unreal 3 based then that would be cool also.

I see you only played amiga and the 3D ones... so if you didn't play armageddon (the best in the series, as people say), you can't say that... seriously.

They should be making an XBOX live Arcade version of Alien Breed! imagine 2 player co op. Mind you an Unreal 3 engine based Alien Breed game would be cool!!

I would love Alien Breed on PS3, but I think the original Amiga team are no longer with Team 17 ? They are the dream team.
I looked at the Alien Breed 2k4 article thought wow, cannot wait. Waited a year to find out what happend and - nada. Real shame.

I really like Alien Breed and Superfrog, its a shame this generation will miss out on such fun games. Shame really.
