Hello, I have a big problem:( :( :( with WWP, when I want to play on WormNet, it says that I have to authenticate on my server, but I can't do that because my browser isn't supported and I should upgrade to a HTTP/1.1 browser! Here is the full message:

Access denied your web browser has sent a request without any 'Host' header field. Without this field the firewall cannot verify your web access permissions and your request has been denied based on the firewall configuration. To resolve this problem either your administrator must enable your browser either you have to upgrade to a HTTP/1.1 browser"

Um, if you have the administrator account then you might want to allow WWP.EXE to ignore this limitation.

The reason why it does that: Go to http://wormnet2.team17.com/wwpweb/welcomeloginform.asp and you will get something; this goes to show that WWP uses a webpage for its authenciation.

I've been looking at WWP.EXE through a hex editor and it shows that it is indeed an HTTP/1.0 browser, but it seems to have a "Host" field... weird...

I'm not the administrator and in the "browser" in WWP, there is a field for username and password but I can't write into it because it isn't a field it's only a text message ....

if your not playing it in windows then most likely you just cant play it.

well... ARE you using windows? if not then we most likely would need to know what your using and if you are using windows, what windows are you using? and have you installed the latest service pack and/or updates for the O/S?

Windows XP SP2, and I have the all the updates for it, and the game is working just fine I also have the latest patch for WWP, I'm telling you the problem is with the administrator and the loging in the server..
