I see a lot of people using this program and I have to ask...what is it?

it allows you to sign into the IRC channel the game uses for a lobby and chat to people....

you can see who is in the lobbyand what games are beign hosted without having to have the game running.

So you cna wait until you see a game that you want to play before startign up worms

Imagine you have an operating system, on which W:A fails to run.

I wrote my first snooper to be able to chat in wormnet on linux, because the time i tried it to run with wine wormnet didn't work for me.

You can monitor the people and games on Wormnet while still being on your Windows desktop where you can do other stuff.

In the lobby you just wait.
