Every time someone does something incredibly stupid in one of the games I play with my friends, we always make up some stupid phony award for it. The most recent one I believe was "Most fumbled jump" which was rather hilarious at the time

So one day in December I decided to whip up this site (http://www.nanacide.com/worstshotever/index.php) in the hopes that others might submit such entertaining turns for all our amusement. There's nothing serious behind the, er, awarding of the awards, it's all for comedy. All that's needed now is to get the word out! People can't submit stuff if they don't know about the site.

Apparently AL has shut down but I believe FB is up again, and I'm sure plenty of comical turns happen in FB games. Since there's little crossover with the FB and T17 community, it would be handy if someone over there could make a post just to bring some awareness about (I think I have an account but I forgot the password)

that site says the submitting ends Dec 31.

Haha funny idea, but who will juge on who will get the awards? Cant the community watch the replays and vote? That would be nice

Probably too complicated :) In any case I have a whole year to decide on the system so there's no rush, but the current plan is is to have a small group of friends (Parker, Splongul, maybe others) start judging them in december sometime. Until that time I'll just be collecting the replays in a massive archive - I won't even start viewing them myself until near the end of the year. It's a long wait but I don't know how popular this'll be. Maybe in the future it'll be monthly, who knows?

I'm not taking it seriously though - if a replay is funny then it will get in somehow (probably on a very specific and contrived award) because comedy is the goal here. All submissions will eventually be viewable, not just the award-winning ones.

That's a long wait, so far by the responses there are a lot of funny/stupid replays out there. =)

Damn! I've not got my old replays! I played a brilliant game once, I was taunting my friend because it looked like I would win when I had my go (he'd just fluffed up his go), we only had one worm each, and he was easily in shotgun range.

...then sudden death started and my worm drowned.

I'll see if he's got that replay anymore.
