When I connect to a host and the server starts the game, the game is kicking me out on the desktop and I wonder why.

After it's started, but before the nuclear pie. (Well that's what I call it)

Just to make sure...this is only happening on Wormnet, not normal multiplayer, right?

Yes, yes he has.

I've suggested to him to uninstall/reinstall, we'll see if that helps at all. That's one of the first things I try when a game screws up, and solved many a problem it has.

try rebooting your computer.
