Both my Worms armageddon CDs are now thoroughly scratched and wont play because of, and I am proud to say, frequent use. So, I think, lets get a nice new one off Amazon. They are sure to still sell them at incredible drop down prices.

Now, I don't like these sold out software copies (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sold-Out-Software-Worms-Armageddon/dp/B000077W0H/sr=8-1/qid=1165354189/ref=pd_ka_1/203-6223341-5841568?ie=UTF8&s=videogames") because they have a nasty tacky loading screen tht starts up every time I insert the CD.

So I look down a little further...Ah yes, heres the one I want. I click on the link and then stare bewilderingly at the picture.

How was this (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Hasbro-Worms-Armageddon/dp/B00004YZHM/sr=8-8/qid=1165354189/ref=sr_1_8/203-6223341-5841568?ie=UTF8&s=videogames") ever anything like worms armageddon. Where has it come from?

That is why I am not going to click the "BUY!!! GIVE US ALL YOUR MONIEZZ!" button just yet. I can get it "used like new" for a single pound. But Im just not sure about the world anymore.

That's a screenshot of Worms Armageddon for Game Boy Color, arguably the worst Worms game ever.

But I think this actually the PC version, going by reviews and so forth.

If you don't like Sold Out software CD's running the menu when you put them in, then you can always disable Windows's Autorun. However, that will stop all CD's from ever autorunning, and the autorun can only be disabled by changing the registry setting inside Windows (for some crazy reason, it isn't an option.)

However, it's a definate benefit if you want to create a disc image of WA and mount into onto a virtual drive, so that you never need to use the CD again, so you can mount it on your Worms shrine/hide it in a box, or whatever you do to it. Without disabling Autorun and mounting the Virtual drive, you'll get that menu every time you turn on Windows. Aaaargh!

-EDIT- Here's how to disable autorun if you want to.

Go to the start menu, click Run... and type in regedit.

When inside Regedit, go to the tree on the left and browse to
My Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlS et\Services\Cdrom
Double-click Autorun, and change the value from 1 to 0.

Tiz not bad, tiz not good...You're kidding. It's dire.

Only two teams, distinguishable only by the colour of their skins.

And IIRC, poor music.

I'm not entirely sure why Team17 continue to make appalling(sp?) games. They obviously have the potential to do better.

It's one of those budget games. Play 'The Movies' and you'll understand why.

No man, I liked it! Really, I taught it was a good port to GBC! And the music wasn't THAT bad...

You try to do better on GBC pixel count. :p

And besides, it was released rather a while ago.

You try to do better on GBC pixel count. :pThey did better on GB pixel count. At least Worms 1 for the Game Boy supported four teams.

Mine are pretty good for close stuff, so yeah.

I know where my worm is, I can see it moving, and I know what angle it's aimed at. Beyond that, size... doesn't... oh my Glod, the double entendres!

Hey, the original worms were a mere 15 pixels and we were damn proud of them!
