Hello all,

I know there are countless topics on the subject of map making.

I am well aware (through the use of the search feature) of the size/colour setting etc for making maps...

...A while back, however, I came across a website/page/post that featured all kinds of interesting map making information, such as minimum pixel height for a worm to walk through etc - I cant find it anymore :( ...

...Just wondering if there is a really in-depth guide to map making for WA?

I look forward to hearing from you all.

The site you are probably thinking of is Bloopy's Worms web site (http://bloopy.topcities.com/worms/index.html), which seems to be down and/or relocating to his new domain (bloopy.org (http://bloopy.org/)) at the moment.

It would be extremely nice if community members could come together and put all the fascinating information on collision mask shapes, movement logic, etc. in the Worms Knowledge Base (http://wiki.thecybershadow.net/Worms_Knowledge_Base), preferably in a game logic (http://wiki.thecybershadow.net/Game_logic) article, so that aspiring map makers could get the sort of information they want. :)

Also, Deadcode has made an extraordinary map which exhibits many extremely useful map features and functions, including one-way passages, traps, stairs, all jump trajectories, etc. I have the map on a drive that isn't connected to my PC at the moment, but perhaps Deadcode will come by and attach his wonderful map here for you. I think I'll make a point to email him a link to this thread.

Wow at resizing, how silly. Here it is again in a .rar file.

Nice one chaps...

Appreciate the feedback...

I cant work out all of Deadcode's map out at all, though. :(

I look forward to seeing Bloopy's site (or at least the info it provided) back up soon!

Lex, I actually added a physics section under Game Logic a few days ago. I left it very messy ;) .

Yes, and I left a (positive) comment on your talk page about it. :)
