Has anyone else run in to the problem where you can't authenticate your game due to it always trying to connect to 127.0.0.1 instead of going to a real IP address?

I bought the download version from EB games and now can't play the stupid thing.

boarder, try get your money back and buy the "Sold Out Software" version on CD, or one of the multipacks. The TryMedia version, as well as having the issues you've already discovered, also isn't compatible with the latest game patches which means you won't be able to play online.

I strongly recommend getting a non-TryMedia version from the Team17 shop (http://secure.team17.co.uk) or eBay.

Indeed, I doubt anyone here knows enough about the TryMedia version of WA to help you. The CD version is much better, in that it can be updated (giving you more features and the ability to play online with most people), contains simpler copy protection (therefore it's less likely to cause compatibility problems), and is cheaper to get. So yeah, get your money back if you can.
