OK, so some people are probably wondering what this has to do with Team 17 at all, but I think everybody needs to know this.

Ducks (http://www.hungrysoftware.com/games/ducks/), the 8 year old Dos game from Hungry Software has officially become free for all to download! It originally cost £15/$25, but now costs you nothing. Quite why the creator decided to do this, I have no idea, but if you haven't played it, then I advise you do so. Now you have no excuse.

Despite being an old Dos game, it runs in Windows XP, however, you do need to use VDM sound (http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=20091) should you wish to hear any sounds. Unfortunately, VDM sound won't run on my computer, but seems to work for everyone else, so I can't guarantee it will work.

Download and unlock it here. (http://www.hungrysoftware.com/games/ducks/download.html)

I'm only telling you all this because I honestly can't stress enough how good I think this game is. I have honestly been playing it for the 8 years it has been available. I'm still making add-on packs for it too. A bit sad maybe, but I love it so much...http://www.kieranmillar.com/ducks/bullet.gif

Looks nice on the first glance.
Like Lemmings on Worms terrains. That snowman in one of the screenshots almost looks identical to the once on the snow levels of Worms.
Tim Furnish has released a registration key so that you can type this into the game and unlock it. He hasn't updated the Ducks page[/IMG]
Seems he has done so (http://www.hungrysoftware.com/games/ducks/download.html) now.

I like how the game doesn't like it when you stack bridges. :D

And in case anyone is interested, there are loads of extra levels for Ducks available here (http://www.hungrysoftware.com/games/ducks/addons/).

The official add-ons World Wide Webbed and Beak to the Future you still have to pay for, but Xmas Ducks 2000 and *most* of the user-made add-on packs are free.
