mayhem won't play or reinstall since i installed vista. the game worked fairly well before hand on xp,
PLEASE HELP

I was able to get it to run on Vista RC1 (x64), but I didn't try installing it. I just ran it from the directory XP installed it to.

Are you getting an error message or is it just not doing anything?

Also, keep in mind Vista is still in a testing phase, so there could be a lot of hardware/sofware problems that still exist. Don't tell me you completely replaced XP with Vista :)

i originally tried running it from the normal xp folder but didn't work. Since then it wont reinstall.

i've tried diabling UAC and install as admin but same thing,
plus heaps of other things. i even contacted codemasters, they told me they may need to release a patch but wont til vistal is final

Neither the problem or the responce supprise me - vista is only in beta, and in all honesty a load of rubbish anyway (and yes I do have it installed).

No company will release patches to something that way well change later, they would just have to release a second patch which doubles the work. I would suggest running it in XP untill vista goes final. If you dont have it installed anymore you should probably set up a dual boot system if you can.

I have the final version of Vista and Worms 4 Mayhem won't work for me either... Anyone know of a fix?
