Just started learning flash, but i have a problem.

How do you draw on for example the 3rd frame without it affecting ALL off the frame?
(so i don't have to redraw everything all the time)

I don't know what to search on google for a solution to that.

So you want to copy an image from one frame to other frames?

That's realy simple. Highlight the frame on the timeline, press ctrl-a then ctrl-c. Now highliht the frames you want to paste to and pres ctrl-v.

Or alternatively draw your image on all the frames at once using the 'edit multiple frames' toggle and sliders below the timeline.

Or you could create a long frame on the timeline, draw your image, then convert the whole block to Keyframes.

edit: Actualy after re-reading your post I'm not sure if that was what you were asking. You didn't make yourself very clear.

Do you mean 'how do I edit over a frame so that I keep the original image'?

If so you'll want to be using layers. The layer making and editing options are pretty self-explainitary and can be found to the left of the timeline.

Right Click on the frame you want to edit, and choose "Convert to Keyframe".

Ahahahaha

As Philby says, you need a keyframe for every new frame. Gaps between keyframes can be filled with "tween" frames.

Don't forget to add accent frames to give the animation some impact and personality. Accent frames aren't something which has been implemented into Flash, so you just have to put in a keyframe and pretend it's an accent frame. They're the same thing, really.

F5 inserts an empty frame (these can be converted to tween frames), F6 inserts a keyframe which includes whatever was in the last keyframe and F7 inserts an empty keyframe.

Under the help menu there are several tutorials that cover basic things like this. I suggest you have a look.

I didn't know where to post this, and starting a new thread just for one question would be pointless. So, does anyone know how to tween objects so that they fade out after a while? Changing the alpha doesn't really work, since an object is automatically turned to a symbol when tweened. I've been trying to learn how to use advanced Flash stuff for the past hours and I'm working on a FBF explosion, which could use a fading flash effect.

Symbols have alpha too:

Have the object with 100% alpha at the beginning of the tween, and give it a 0% alpha on the end frame.
