When are we going to see Worms armageddon ported over to the Xbox live Arcade? although I would like to see a brand new game in 3d(but still mantaining 2d gameplay) throwing it on the 360 at all would be great and worms armageddon would be the one to port and if possible let them play against the pc people.

WA is still in development for PC. If it was ported to Xbox Live Arcade, it wouldn't be the latest version and there'd be so much the players would be missing out on!

On the other hand, if it wasn't, they'd be missing out on the entire game. :p

We are hoping to make an annoucement soon. I can however confirm that Worms Armageddon will not be ported to Live Arcade for a variety of reasons, not least the fact that Live Arcade content is more casual focused than hard-core.

However, at the same time there are no current plans to develop any fully 3d worms games, for next or current gen.

But I see no reason why to put Worms Armageddon on there, a new variation of the 2D game would be better. So it's not just the exact same old game but on a new system.

2D Worms + Online scoreboard and Rankings + Xbox Arcade = instant success.

Isn't there a cap on the size of Xbox Live Arcade games? I don't think Worms will fit on there.
