I love being able to see the pixels on my monitor. I frequently dislike motion blur and depth of field blur in games as the human eye doesn't suffer from these inferiorities.

Besides which, it looks like you pasted a bunch of worms in just for effect... I can see at least 5 weapon-wielding worms and even what look like loose weapons.

I've never considered copy & pasting to be much effort. It's probably less effort than going to the toilet and I certainly wouldn't praise anyone for doing that unless they were a toddler learning to potty train.

Well, I'll tell you how I did this.
I used the fiddler to create a cluster bomb with around 400 clusters, and all using different sprites of worms for the clustlets. Then I did the zoom thing. I originally made it for my desktop backround. It looks really cool in fullscreen! Then I used it for a reply to another thread, the one where people were discussing the lunatic Trippenz'z obviously fake remake of W:A. And so on, so forth.

For a start, the explosion did not destroy half the map, so it shouldn't be so big.

Ah well. I just thought it looked cool. Maybe the BOOOM was a bad idea...

Pfft. Those pictures don't look great.
You have to horrifically overuse the burn & blur tools to make your picture truly awesome.
And superimposing a larger, transparent version of the picture looks really professional, too.

It's fun to use, yes. But that doesn't mean it looks good.

And even if it does look good, we don't want somebody going around to every other thread on the forum, randomly taking attachments and adding silly blur and vortex effects to them.

GIMP is technically superior to Photoshop, from what I hear.

Well, i dont think a free program is better then a €300,- program. But i think Photoshop has too much abilities you dont even use. well someone will. but you give lots of money for stuff you dont even use. On that point. Gimp is better. But f*ck it all. Fireworks FTW!

I have Photoshop CS2. Unless I'm missing something vital here, it's nothing special. It can apparently do a lot of things but you can't just click a button and do it, you have to read through a long tutorial.

I have nothing all that special... :( just Microsoft Picture It! and the program Mr.Blurmaker put up.:p

Aaaanyway, Having experience with both The gimp and Photoshop CS, not to mention Paintshop pro 4,5 7 and 8 (7 is best in my opinion as 8's interface is bewildering) and Open canvas (which realy isn't all that special), I can say that Photoshop is FAR superior.
