The quotes are doubled. That's it.

I only wrote one hi. Also, the option to delete posts has gone! Nooo!
At least you can still delete threads...

That only happens in the retro purple skin, as said by Sel
And delete hasn't gone

Sel's said in the annoucement he's looking into it though, hopefully it'll be easy enough to fix.
I missed that delete button

EDIT: URL does work
Also, sel didn't have that post up when I posted.

Ah rightiho.
(woot, muilti-quoting and images! I love abusing features.)
If you continue doing that, img will be disallowed!

Yes it will!

alright alright :) , it was just the novelty.
So, what are the conditions under which one is allowed to use IMG tags?
Is it just a case of not abusing it? How much use counts as abuse, etc?
Probably only post images if they're humerous and/or on topic

I would imagine no ridiculously large images that screw up the tables, no offensive/pornographic images, and nothing off-topic.
On the other hand, it will allow us mods to post humorous images when we lock threads ;)
Also, Sel, could you at some stage maybe make a different button for this one: http://forum.team17.co.uk/images/retropurple/buttons/viewpost.gif - the quote navbutton on the retro purple skin - it's a little too big and pushing things out of line. Cheers :)
Not for me . Which browser are you on?
In fact, it's exactly the right size for the forum list, as it matches the size of the time.

It's already on my 'To Do' list!
When will that double post edit hack be back? I think you should try to copy APJ's work, Sel.
Yes, deletion does work, sorry for the confusion.
I think you should try to copy APJ's work, Sel.
APJ's hack was for vBulletin 2, so it won't work with the latest forum software.
I meant write a new double post hack, sorry for unclarity.

Safari 2.0.3, using the Retro skin. On the standard vB3 skin, it fits just fine.

There is already a basic anti-double post thing: the mods and their lovely "Merge post" feature :D
Edit:
Wow, I've just realised a cool new feature - deleted posts now appear in the thread using AJAX, rather than in a popup window :D
So you can see my deleted double post test, then :p

So you can see my deleted double post test, then :p
Yes - user mods always could (until Sel deletes them :()
We can just see them without having to wait for a whole new page to load :D
another goddam annoying bug:
When dragging the forum icon into the toolbar in opera, the icon is the old one (the 2d one, rather than the new 3d one).
I reckon there's a small icon and a large icon, and vb hasn't bothered changing the new one.
Also, there's another new feature: There are two more options in the popup quick search.
Yeat another, the permissions are wrong in the WA forum:
"vB code is Off"

Well, post merging still works ;)
Here's another broken image on the retro skin, Sel:
http://forum.team17.co.uk/images/retropurple/misc/progress.gif - the OSX-style progress "circle"
huh? That's on firefox too! Also, it ain't broke!

Sorry! Wrong link!
Everything seems to be running smoothly now. Although bonz seems to be having trouble with quotes not displaying correctly.
Is anyone still experiencing problems? Quotes, missing images, etc... ?

The signature picture is suposed to not work? Or is it not suposed to be in the Edit Signature options? :p
Yeah I was gonna say that.

Images in sigs are annoying. 10 lines of text is bad enough! ;)

One image you missed, Sel: http://forum.team17.co.uk/images/retropurple/misc/trashcan.gif - you did the trashcan_small (on the forum view and search pages), but this one seems to have been missed off
Also, is there any chance we could have the [url] code turned on for sigs?

Hmm, I'll have a think about that, don't see why not.

I do, it just wasn't appropriate. :p
Next to the unofficial forum FAq thread, is a sign that means there's attachments in the thread. However, upon clicking the button, "There are no attachments to display".
thomasp
16 Aug 2006, 18:50
Most likely there are no attachments in that thread - there probably were some and they got removed.
*Checks thread*
No attachments visible in there, and nothing showing up on the mod log, so someone must have just deleted it.

Why do I keep getting randomly subscribed to threads I reply to even though I have none of the subscription / notification options on?

16 Aug 2006, 19:38
What's wrong with the [URL] code? Even if you do, you can still paste onto your browser bar.
One little bug that I find annoying is that when you quote someone, there is already an added empty line after the post. I presume it's to space out the multi-quoting thing, but I find it annoying.

The sig I want doesn't fit in and I had already turned into smaller text in an image that met the signature picture requirements :p

Why do I keep getting randomly subscribed to threads I reply to even though I have none of the subscription / notification options on?god, I had to manually go in and tell the site not to send me any e-mails about threads up until a certain date. from that date on I don't get e-mails for subscribed threads, but every once in a while I still get mail about the "whats your wallpaper" thread whenever it gets replies...
edit: and btw sel, nice idea on the being watched system. out of curosity, will there be a set number of points that, once gained after being watched, will get the person banned?
Fixing this now.

Not currently no, I'm leaving that the old fashioned way for now. Will see how things go with the new system first.

Do you mean the expires and red / yellow cards? If so now fixed.
Could you show me a person who has these (so I can see this new feature)?

This one (and I assume the yellow one too) are still broken: http://forum.team17.co.uk/images/retropurple/buttons/redcard.gif - the one that should appear on this post: http://forum.team17.co.uk/showpost.php?p=525007 (Sel/Mods only)

Not sure if you'll be able to see this, but the infractions show up in the user profile. Have a look here: http://forum.team17.co.uk/member.php?u=51197 above the "Forum info" bit.
I've removed the posts that had the infractions, so you can't see those. You'll get a PM/email when you get your infraction - don't worry :D

Nope. Seems like other users canīt see this.
Regarding the image tags:
Are the images supposed to be seen in the post?
All I see is the link address, just as if the URL tag has been used.
I tried it with IE & FF and with all the different color schemes here on the forum.
Works fine withy me.
Fo some reason long URLs don't work... use www.tinyurl.com
