How often does an invitation poll happen? How does it come about? Who decides to initiate it?

Every few months I reckon.
Usually happens when people stop posting and this place kinda gets boreing. OR because some people really should be invited.
Yeah...that.

Every now and then. The last invite was in February but the next could be held at any time. Personally seeing as you know many people better than we do, and I trust your judgement (even if you have been here for all of 1 day or so:p). I'd like to see invites sooner rather than later.

It happens whenever someone decides it should. It comes about because someone decides it should. Whoever decides it should happen initiates it.

Please don't imagine we have a system.

Well, I posted about getting bunny in so we stuck up a poll (or 3) to get a few in once Sel returned.... same thing realy.
