If this is in the wrong section you may move it where it belongs. Note by thomasp: done!

So.... first, make it 3D and make the physics like in the 2D series.
You fall fast, grenades go faster and if ya just tap the fire button, the grenade should just be dropped. :)

The explosions looked awesome in Worms 4, but again, the worms should fly higher and faster from exlosions.
Forget the physics if it can't be done.

Weapons. More of them.
All the old weapons back. 'cept the ones, that are replaced. (freeze < bubbe trouble)
PLUS. Firearms! Where were Uzi and Minigun (not necessary, sentry gun kinda replaces) or the revolver in Mayhem?

And where was fire? The fire that smokes and hurt worms. That was weird.
There was a lot of gas from the oil barrels though. They should've burned too.

The soundbank should be bigger and more customisability with the worms.
Map creator would be good if it could be done.

The trophies and missions were good in Mayhem so they should be keeped, but perhaps a little longer missions.

And yeah. Where was replay in Worms 4? That would be good in Worms 5, too.

Thank you.

PS. Don't get me wrong, Mayhem is a great game and I play it every day. :)

The first worms I played was the first one. But I dont remember almost anything about it.
Then came Worms 2 (sold 1st, bought this). That I do remember, it was so cool then.
Then came Armageddon (sold 2, bought this). I remember this the most clearly, it was the coolest game ever at that time.
Then came World Party (sold Armageddon, bought this), and that's the only 2D Worms game I have now.
Then came Worms 4 Mayhem. I bought it the day it was released.

Do you think it was bad?

The day I wanted to get a 3D worms, the 4th one was just published.
So I waited for that.....

I've played worms 3D and I remember Uzi was there. Why was it taken out?

Well, the uzi in W3D, as I recall, is pretty difficult to aim, since when you fire, your aimer starts aiming up. I'm not sure though, as I haven't played it in a while. Hmm.

I just played on Worms 3D and used it, and it's not at all hard to aim. The only worms weapon I can think of that fit's your description is the Worms Forts minigun.

Alright then. Thanks for the correction. Really, I should stop responding to inquiries about the 3D games. I will.

Er... ok fire and minigun are out, longer missions dont have to come, just MORE. you can 'replay' with a new team, starts the whole campain all over. there is an island creator in some way, you can fill in text and/or numbers, giving a code for you own sort of island. looking to the distance of the 'flying' it is far enough. further would just easy the game. If all games were the same again, it wouldnt be so much new fun...

i think they need to have to have the terrain more destructible. for example if there is nothing holding up some terrain it will collapes. so you can shoot out peices of land bellow terrain to make it fall and break and stuff. that would be cool. i think that they should try again with the petrol bomb though and flame thrower. it didnt work out at all for worms 3d but if they could figure it out that would be cool. i think things should just be more destructable so you can interact with the terrain more. also yes i agree with a terrain editor and perhaps a more advanced weapon editor. also better graphics but keeping the cartoony feel and more weapons and utilities.

[....]So.... first, make it 3D and[...]

well i would prefer a 2D worms....
IMO Worms is a 2D game. Worms 4 is cool, no question but somehow i prefer 2D....

I thought that the fire effects in WFUS were actually pretty good. They weren't made of paper, they actually did SUBSTANTIAL damage to an opponent, and left a scorch mark. Although, on the PS2 they were a little CPU hungry, causing the game to slow down.

I guess they were a bit of an improvment from the flames in worms 3d, but i pefer the idea of the flames making the worm bounce around from flame to flame like in the 2d series instead of it just pushing the worm and doing some damage.

As I have a tendancy to use napalm strikes, flamethrowers and petrol bombs in the 2D games, I am inclined to agree that it would be nice if they did the flames (properly) in any future 3D games.

Hmm... yeah.

2D might be good also, maybe even better.

But they have to give it a new look too.

There's a lot of worms fans that like 2D better than 3D, maybe the 2Ds even outnumber the 3Ds, but then again, with consoles being more and more advanced, it would maybe be kind of ridiculous to put a 2D game in the middle of so real looking games.
So I have a solution: why not make a game where you can play 2D and 3D? Anyway 2D takes so little space it would be easy to add it onto a standard DVD or blu-ray disc. That way there can be a 3D story mode and 2D story mode. Some people can choose to only play 2D, and some to only play 3D, most people would choose to do both, and everyone's happy!
