View Full Version : I've updated and still can't connect.
The FAQ on the Team17 site, though horribly out of date, only tells you how to check your version.
My version says 3.0.0 when I mouse over the wa.exe, and I still can't connect to a game and it gives me the incompatible version error.
Anyone know how to fix this?

Okay on a lesser note it changes the version number in wa.exe, but still it doesn't run. It gives me the 'please insert the CD' error thing, and I don't have it since I copied this version off of a really old terabyte hard drive that I used to back up all of my really old crap.

Best way to get rid of that error is to insert an ORIGINAL CD of the game into your CD or DVD drive. It can be purchased for a pathetic sum of money using the link M3ntal gave above.
