i have an idea.. a worms game for palm os! there is a ripp-off but it sucks.. big time http://www.palminfocenter.com/view_story.asp?ID=4555 would it be possible to make a palm os version of worms? if team 17 wont do it, are there anynother palm users on these forums? if so, would you like to help me with making a worms like game? ive got the software for it and i can send it to you if you'd like to help me...

WWP was released for PalmOS. I can only find the link for the PocketPC version but apparently it does exist...

I remember Rifleslugs. That was the game that introduced me to Worms. But I was too cheap to buy it.

it looks like hexacto worked with team 17 to make a pocket pc, palm os and smartphone os.. but the team 17 website only gives this (http://forum.team17.co.uk/showthread.php?threadid=5442) press release.. the hexacto website seems to be dead atm or hexacto got bankrupt :/

The site appears to have died around march 2005, and it seems they had changed name to Jamdat mobile, which is now eamobile (http://www.eamobile.com/Web/Catalog/)(you get directed there if you type www.jamdat.com ), altough they don't seem to have WWP anymore...

EDIT: it wasnt released in april 2003 (http://web.archive.org/web/20030407165716/hexacto.com/games_list.php), while it was supposed to be released at the end of 2002... from april 2003 on its all jamdat...
EDIT 2: it was never released.. they had a pocket pc version and stopped with it.. :(

that isnt always the problem.. palms have different screen resolutions, different screen colours, different sound quality, different buttons,...
i have a zire 31 (http://www.palmclub.nl/reviews/526/Palm/Hardware-Palm/palmOne-Zire-31.html), wich has two hard keys and a 5 way navigation kay.. if i want to go up in some games i need to press up, select, up, on other pda (http://euro.palm.com/nl/nl/products/palmm515/index.html)'s with 4 hard keys and just 1 up and 1 down button you'll have to pess up to go up

Mines an m130..., os 4.1 I think. Low res, 7 hard buttons (inc power); up, down, 4 quick links useavble in games, power; 32mb SD card, 8mb internal. USes 3rd party launcher (Zlauncher). I play RifleSLUGS on it, but cannot play rifleslugs w or snails. Shame, really...

os 5.something (its not garnet) low res, 8 hard buttons inc power; up, down, left ,right select, 2 configurable, power, 512 mb SD card, 16 mb internal. also uses 3rd party laucher (Zlauncher :p). I play monopoly and mostly use it as an mp3 player

as far as i now only for software...

I've a Sony Clie PEG-TG50 with Palm OS 5, built-in keyboard and a 320x320 screen.
Sony was the first firm which produced Palm OS organizers with high resolution screens and multimedia functions. And since some years they stopped to build them. *sniff*

Rifleslugs isn't so good like Snails, but a orginal Worms would be the best.
I also noticed that there wasn't WWP for Palm OS on the web. :(
