View Full Version : Help again, problems with routers
Hello. :-/
I need help. I' ve two routers ( Cerberus and DLink ), so I must unblock ports with two routers?? One is near PC, two is on antenna from my brother. And later copy my IP from www.whatismyip.com so?
Who know? ;)
Two routers!? What are you doing with two routers!? Does that mean you have two internet connections or, is one router routing between a PC (or two) and the other router, which is routing between some more PCs!?
Really, the answer to your question depends on your LAN setup.
I, personally, think having more than one router in a LAN is pretty insane. Hmm. How would it be useful? Not that this is related to your question. I'm just pondering, like a naturally-curious human.
The router connected to Internet should forward 17011tcp port to the other router, and the other router should forward 17011tcp to the computer on which you are hosting. So ports have to be forwarded on both routers, indeed.

Maybe one of the 'routers' is only a WLAN access point.

This doesnt apply to why it wont work but, i have two routers, too.
One (a belkin with a wireless access point) gets the signal from the modem and my dads computer. It also sends it to mine wirelessly. from there i share the internet connection and hook up to another router (D-link DI-604) to share with my other computer :p
But how there put in options??
This is not impossible :p joke, but plz about help ;]

Good start is to answer these questions (http://forum.team17.co.uk/showpost.php?p=526011&postcount=2).
You should help us, if you want us to help you.
I have Service Pack 4, I change direction on my IP because I have now constant IP.
I must change in options "Control panel\Net connections\Specificity\Internet protocol (TCP/IP)"? And unblock ports in Internet protocol (TCP/IP) - "Advance" option?
:-/ btw, W:A working on Windows Vista?
This is a very useful site here:

Find your Router(s) in the first list, then check the Worms Armageddon settings in the next list. This should provide you with all the necessaries. :)
