Hey, worms 4 is the only worms game that i dont have and I have been hearing around that you need a good graphics card to play it. This true?

That depends on what you call good!

Worms certainly doesn't require as much power as the latest shooters do.

The box says a Geforce 2 MX or a Radeon 7200 will do. So the game should work with those, but probably only on a very basic level.

I've got a Geforce 6800GT with 256 MB (the latest chip mentioned on the German box) and I have no problems with the game at all, everything runs smooth on the highest settings.

So you don't need anything better than that. Probably a little less will do just as well.

I know it works on an Nvidia 5200 (which by todays standards isn't very good).

'tworks with a NVIDIA GeForce 2 Ti, although only 512 meg of memory OR Processor: AMD Athlon(TM) XP1700+, MMX, 3DNow, ~1.5GHz (I'm not sure which is the problem) isn't very good with the AI players...

Download the demo, and see if it works on your comp.

I have integrated graphics (NVidia 6150)... plan to get it upgraded in the future. This is the first that I've actually used a fairly good PC (AMD Athlon 3800+/1gb ram). A month ago I was using one from 1998 without any significant technical upgrades.

Seems to run perfectly fine to me?

Seems to run perfectly fine to me?
Is that supposed to be a question or a statement?

Is that supposed to be a question or a statement?

A statement expressed with little conviction. I've only had the game a week, and haven't analysed many elements. I haven't played 6x4 worms to a level yet, for instance. Or online (I'm in a minority I guess who hates playing games online.) Or had any spectacular multi-worm kills. Yet it does appear to lag and have it's frame rate affected. I'm coming off playing games from a couple of years ago where I was well below the minimun requirements. I can put up with lag and low frame rates, and in comparison this seems to fine to me. However, I may just have a different performance tolerance threshold from the norm. The question mark is for anyone more experienced to correct me.

On the issue of whether it runs, though, I'd say definitely. And fine by my standards.
