I dont know if this is a common problem, but i installed this on my sisters computer last night and it worked fine and i tryd to load it on my today and after it gets past the last load screen it just exits to desktop. Doesnt list any error nothing just closes out , we are both on windows XP pro.

Update video/sound card drivers from their websites. If you don't know how to do this, post again. If that doesn't work, check your computer has the right specs (specifications).

i hav the same problem...but not that same...lol...my problem is, sometimes im playing the game half-way, it juz exits to windows. Not always, it's juz sometimes...Wat's the problem? I already patched it to the latest version...and my video driver already the latest...and i believe my spec is able to play the game...anyway, here's my spec:

AMD Athlon 64 3000+ @ 2.56Ghz
2 x Corsair 512mb DDR400 ValueSelect Ram
Inno3D 7600GST 256mb
Western Digital 80GB 7200rpm 8mb buffer

Any help would be appreciated...Thx.

...Or you got wrong hard for game...
