this bug does also work with baseball bat:

when you choose the ninja rope and aim straight up, walk around and change to the longbow while you are walking (dont stop walking before you shoot) and shoot then, the arrow flys straight in the sky and it takes several seconds until it comes down again (i think 10 seconds or more)

well this also works with baseball bat, but the worms just fly up and come down again :D

why does nobody fix it? or is a fix planned in the next patch?

Better not be, I rely on that as my primary strategy.

Yeah, this "bug" has long been part of tactical gameplay, so i doubt a fix is planned.
