Or, you could just set your browser to do that for you. Well, Opera can do that, dunno if other browsers can.

It's not javascript. Check the HTML source. Odds on it's PHP.
And what's the purpose of this site?
It should also warn you "Oh no! Monday again."
ZOMG it's NOT friday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

No, it shouldn't.
That'd defeat the joke, as telling you what day it was, apart from whether or not it's Friday, would make it marginally more useful.

I believe this thread has no further point in existence.
Yes it does! It points us to an important link, that tells us if today is a Friday. And this world would be a good bit more complicated if we didn't know if it was a Friday or not, so we need this topic!

You're not, but I mean it has to be something serverside if it's not showing up in the HTML source, and PHP is the most common, in my experience.
That or it's some guy changing the page over twice a week.

Makes me wonder, is there other sites like 'Is it Sunday' or 'Is it Wednesday'???
It'd be weird if there was one entitled 'Is it January'.

Well given that Christmas was originally a Pagan festival and is now almost totally secular I really don't see the harm. Besides which, "Christmas" is a funny word.

I doubt your political correctness is any worse than ours.
There was a case when children in a junior school were banned from mentioning Christmas in any way, shape or form, IIRC.

Besides, various anti-Christian terrorists might want to plan a terror attack at Christmas and need to know if it's the right time already. :D

Well yea, that much was obvious, but did you really NEED to do it? It would have been obvious anyway.
Sarcasm's always funnier the less blatant it is anyway.
