Whenever I try and install Worms 3D to my Mac OS X I get an error message saying:

An unexpected error occurred while installing "pirate3.wav".
1008:17,-5

Followed by:

An error occurred that prevented the installation from completing.
pirate3.wav

Hmm...
I dont know what could cause it, but you should keep the receipt in case it's because the disc is damaged.

I reckon Plasma's right, as it's a random wav file, therefore the disk may be damaged.

Perhaps, but I verified the disk using disk utility and everything seemed to be fine. If I downloaded this single track, would the installation process still continue...?

Team17 didn't create the Mac version of Worms3D - that was Feral Interactive (http://www.feralinteractive.com) - try contacting their Tech Support.


It sounds like the WAV files have been corrupted on the disk - try and find them and see if they'll run (double click on them) on their own.
