I have a Logitech wireless mouse and keyboard but it doesn't allow you to use both at the same time (e.g. when typing and moving the mouse at the same time, the typing doesn't show on the screen).

This is a problem in Worms because when holding down 'e' and 'w' I need to move the mouse to angle my aim, and more importantly on the air strike when I need to turn the mouse to change the air strike direction.

Please help!

I think this comes from the keyboard and the mouse themselves. I often have this problem with wireless mice and keyboards. The only solution is to replace the mouse or the keyboard (not both) with a non-wireless one.

I don't have anything to replace them with, and besides, there must be a simpler solution?

The solution is to take those... things back to the shop and get a proper keyboard and mouse combo. I mean, you can't shift-click in web browsers, you can't play games, you can't select mulitple icons in Windows Explorer... What good is that? It's like having a car that you can't drive with the radio on, or a handheld whose display turns off when you turn on the backlight.

I have got a wireless mouse (MX 1000) as well as a wireless keyboard (Cordless Desktop Pro) from Logitech as well. I never have any problems, but they don't belong together (I replaced the original Cordless Desktop Pro mouse a while ago), so they have separate receivers.
You probably have that problem because of the combined receiver.
Are they attached by USB or PS2? Logitech usually puts adapters in their boxes, that that both should be possible. You could try the other way of attaching your mouse and keyboard.

Maybe something as simple as updating the keyboard and mouse drivers will do the trick.

But AndrewTaylor is absolutely right, something like this shouldn't happen to one of the leading producers of input devices. You should bring them back to the store.

I think this (http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/downloads/software/GB/EN,CRID=1796,contentid=9696) is what I got.

I have no idea where the keyboard recieves to, the mouse holder? Not sure....

Where can I update the drivers?
[edit] Hah, turns out it just needed updating. I'm so stupid. :P Thanks guys!
