When I try to run setup.exe in the W:A CD, the taskbar and any windows and desktop icons disappear for a few seconds, reappear, and nothing happens after that. The same thing happens when I run install.exe in the Install directory. What could be wrong?

Windows XP Home Dutch version, SP1
AMD Athlon 64 3000+
512MB RAM
ATI All-In-Wonder Radeon 9800
DirectX 9.0b

Check disk for scratches and/or dirt. Remove those if possible, or put the CD through a cleaner if you have one. If it still doesn't work, don't buy a new CD just yet; see what other people have to say.

Also, check on www.nanacide.com/wahelp .

Does the CD work on other computers? If it does, then it's not the CD. That helps narrow it down.
