Was Assassin special edition developed by Team17 or Psionic UK. I am confused because on Deam17 says it was published by Team17 and when I play the game, it shows the credits of Team17. Eg. The programming. Am I missing something here?:confused: .

I'd guess this is valid for the special edition too.

Team17 did act as publishers too back in the Amiga days.

Back then, we had no internal development as such. Teams such as Psionic (based in Oldham) worked directly with myself (production/design) and Allister Brimble (audio) when the title was developed - this was the same for pretty much most of the games up until 1993-1994 when we began to have a full time internal development operation and team sizes/required resources began to escalate.

We're now pretty much 99% based in-house and have been for 10yrs.
