Nope still same problem, it loads, then when the title menu music starts (but it still says loading) it crashes, though i did get MOER music then normal ^_^
These are more guesses, but:
Check you have Directx 9.0c
Update your graphics drivers
Maybe even update your sound drivers?
And ill go out on a limb with a real random guess and say maybe its a codec issue? You can get an ace codec pack from http://cccp-project.net/
It might help if you told us your system spec's though :) You could try install the game with your virus scanner disabled, sometimes helps.
Also, is there an error message that appears? If so, what does it say?
Good luck!

WHAT THE HELL DID YOU JUST GET ME TO DOWNLOAD O_O
it makes it open atleast 90 times at a time now >_<
and the error is your standar "windows has encountered an error" box... fairly boreing really.
:| Just uninstall the codec pack then
Control pannel ->Add Remove Programs -> Combined Community Codec Pack -> Uninstall.
Did you check if you have your latest drivers and directx?

well, i have the CCCP pack installed, i have DX9, i don't think i have anny outdated drivers since (nearly) all of my games work(except really really old ones and extremely new ones) but i still get the error message
edit: the same message, i investigated and it gives me this error signature: AppName: worms3d.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: unknown
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 00000000
edit2: it crashes as soon as those drum-thingy's start
edit3(lol): system specs:
DX: 9.0C
display driver: nvidea geforce DDR (date: 7-4-2004 version: 5.6.7.3)
legacy audio drivers
display things exactly match my computer
i just deinstalled the CCCP patch and i'll try again now

i believe i have the same problem, after the sega logo fades out, an error message pops up:
AppName: worms3d.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: unknown
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 00000000
does anyone have any suggestions of what can be done? the only strange part in the report is "your digital product ID, which could not be used to identify your lisence"
any ideas would be much appreciated, Panos

I have the same problem, but before it shows anything. The funny thing is that I before had Win98 and it worked fine (except that the most of the videos was black). Now a little wile ago, we got WinXP installed and it comes up with the same error you had. My computer is a little old, but it worked fine in 800x640 resolution. I had newer tried to set it more up. I have tried to set the resolution to the lowest, but it didn't help. The computer is almost completely clean. Only a few games and programs installed. I have looked in the FAQ and the graphic card's FAQ.
WinXP sp2.
1.2Ghz
256MB RAM
250GB HDD
Nvidia GeForce 6200 AGP 128MB (newest drivers)
DirectX 9.0c
TV card. I will try to delete the drivers, maybe that helps. There was some special drivers to XP I had to install before it worked.

I have the DirectX, I've installed the patches etc. and my game just refuses to start at all. I click on the game, and I get the classic egg timer cursor for a few seconds, then it just stops as if I've never actually clicked on it! When I get the autostart menu, I go through, click play, and it does the same! Doesn't even look like starting!!!
PLEASE HELP!!!

(I have original CD of Worms 3D) When I put my CD in my CD drive, CD runs normally. Then appears list on the screen: "Uninstall Worms 3D", "Install DirectX 9.0a", "Visit www.Worms3D.com", "PLAY", "Exit". I click play then the Worms 3D Launcher runs (whit Resolution, Advanced....). I make my resolution 1024x768, and "Hz" 100Hz. I click play, then my CD is running and after 30 seconds my CD stop running and Worms 3D not open. Please help me whit that! PLEASE!!! :(

The only thing that comes to my mind is for you all to use the facility in XP that allows you to run games (or programs) in Compatability mode. To get there try 'Start', then 'All Programs' followed by 'Accessories'. In that menu you should then find a facility called 'Program Compatability Wizard' which allows you to run the game in Win 95 or Win 98 mode as well as trying different resolutions. Try that method and see if the game works. I have tried this on a couple of the Worms games with success.

I downloaded the demo, installed successfully, or so it said. When I go to start the game, I get the resolution picker, click play, and it tells me "You cannot run multiple instances of this application at the same time.
Doesn't matter what resolution I pick - not that I thought it would - but I checked the task manager and it says I'm not running another instance of the game. Which I wasn't anyway.
I'm running XP pro, on an Athlon 3200, what could I be doing wrong?
