Hmmn... I have to say it's a bit of a toss up between Cisken1 and Paul.Power. Ultimately though, my vote goes with Paul.

Based on artwork, I'm going with Ciskin, but t'was close.

By that logic I could work for years on something not worthy of the tate modern, and someone else like HK could spend ten minutes with a pencil and come out with something amazing, and I'd still win.

Not that I don't think Paul's is good, as I said, t'was close, its just bad logic.

Right... if HK was participating, i would likely vote for her. But since the "level" of the entries was kinda even, i felt free to use other criteria. And even if i tried, i couldn't be impartial because i know and talk to both cisken and paul...

Plenty of other aspects, like Paul's effort, count to decide what pic i like better and i do like Paul's pic better than Cisken's, regarding of Cisken's being more detailed and more carefully shaded. So my vote goes for Paul. If you feel like that's bad logic, please, be my guest and use another when you go vote...

That's a great picture, there. It's just pretty.
I've seen only a few pictures on this forum that I would describe as "pretty" rather than "awesome", so I'm giving my vote to him.

And by the way, you are free to vote for a picture because it's funny. Paul's thing is a comic, and comics are art, so voting for him because it's funny is perfectly valid.

Lol, man... that's exactly what i told him when i first looked at it... altought he changed a lot before posting here (all the grass was made with texture) it still has some remainings of it...

If there's one thing we have to be careful about is mixing textures with cartoony styles... they usually don't get along... :rolleyes:
