Wow.
These comics are outrageously rushed.
The 3 holes for putting paper in a 3-ring binder are visible in each comic.
The paper's edge is often visible.
Some comics aren't resized.
The lineart is outrageously bright. I have no idea what some text bubbles are saying. Some comics have nice and dark lineart, but you go away from that for some reason.
The plot makes no damn sense. I have no idea what's happening most of the time. When I DO know what I'm looking at, the plot is really stupid. Things seem to happen for no reason.
I didn't even smile a single time through every one of those comics. I can't even tell if there WERE any jokes.
And more things that I don't feel like mentioning.

I find it really ironic that a comic that makes fun of nonexistent members called "The Invasion of the n00bs" has the worst art quality of any active comic on the board. And no, I'm not talking about the parts that are meant to look bad. I mean all of it.

I can tell that you can draw well, but you rush these comics so much, and put so little thought or effort into them, that they become terrible.

SLOW DOWN! Geez!
And darken your lines!
And put more thought into your comics, so the plotlines can be other than RANDOM-CRAP-HAPPENS-LOL.

Kelster23
1 May 2006, 03:42
I DID DARKEN MY LINES!
I sharpened and automatic 'fixed' it twice! (I don't mean to sound angry)
half of it was rushed yah, it was older. Some of my newer things, I tend to put more time into.
And about the new plot thing, half the comics I plan the beginning and middle, *sigh* I just never plan an ending...
And about the other older people, alot of them people suggested. I had no idea who they were, they just sounded like people that would work.
You're quite picky, aren't you PigBuster?
Oh well. I don't mind that. I'll just read that and fix what you say is bad!:p
and another thing: There's so many because I lost my internet for awhile in November and got it back like last week, but I kept working on them during that time.
I'll stop rushing, and then they'll look better.
To tell you the truth, alot my comics are made of "RANDOM-CRAP-HAPPENS" I think it makes them funnier, because it's like 'all of sudden, POOF! Its the giant apple of doom, surrounded by the banana minions!'
...Hey, I think that should actually happen in this!!!

Pigbuster

Sharpening your lines doesn't really make them darker. You have to mess around with the contrast to do that.
However,

http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/32604527/
http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/32604852/
All of these have great lineart. Whatever you did there, you should keep doing it.
Every other one has lineart that is too bright, though.

I said it before, but I can tell that you are good at drawing. Sometimes they look good, but they also look bad a lot. I think that the main thing I don't like is that you should be spending more time on these. Just a little more effort would make it look a lot better. That would improve mostly everything.

Well, to each their own. I don't really like that type of random humor, but I know that there's plenty of people that do.

I thought that you lost your internet because you got grounded.
Your parents didn't ground you for that long, did they?

And you don't have to use the entire sheet of paper, you know. You can avoid things like the 3-holes and the paper edge if you draw a little smaller.
Or you could just edit those things out on a computer.

Your artwork's pretty neat... I didn't really like the style change, to be honest, but they started out neat.

The art was about all I liked about it, though, to be honest... Don't scan them too huge like that, make sure you get the whole thing scanned, and try to improve your lettering.

The one thing I dislike most about the comics though, is that you don't really know what a noob is. You just chose characters based entirely on what people don't like and called them n00bs.

Actually, they did 'ground' me for that long. (Unfortunately)
About the darker lines, that's exactly what I did, sharpened and fixed it twice. I'm not sure why it screwed some of them up, but yah, I'll do something about the holes.

The more you talk, the more I realize you don't know what your talking about half the time. Also, n00b, means New; Newbie; Beginer. You use the term as if it means stupid. Which makes you sound hypocritacal. Gah. *headach'ed*

The system I use (which I admit is not orthodox) is

Newb - new and inexperienced, but polite and willing to learn
n00b - new and inexperienced, but ... well, the opposite.

To randomly use a Railway Series analogy, think Peter Sam and Sir Handel respectively.

There's also quite a large group of people now who technically have some experience under their belts, but are still n00bs at heart. These people are a bit of a problem, because they're people who think they have authority when really they don't deserve it.

The more places I go online, the fewer people I seem to meet that know the difference between noon and newb. They may sound alike, but they are NOT synonyms. My definitions agree with Paul.Power mostly, except I 'd say the majority of noobs probably have substantial experience, which sounds counter-intuitive but it seems to be true.
