Some do yes, but Cless doesn't, but I'm keeping a notebook of all the moves I've found so far, eventually I'll figure them out. There's still several cool moves the computer does that I can't though. I'll just keep experimenting!

Try an upload site or just send it to people on MSN.

Anyway, just fixed the sound. If anyone's having problems go to control panel > Sounds and sound devices > advanced > performance and lower the hardware acceleration.

Dedede only has one attack that involves him swinging his hammer around causing little to no damage. Nedless to say is that I'm in need of better characters.

Can you manage to put secret characters?
Like... dunno... Master hand for a boss, for example, (I know it exist, but dunno if it's too hard as a boss...) or any unlockable... just a though...

Also, I Think the characters for now are great.

one last thing... without final Bison, it makes 19... try to make 20 (or more), but make the selection screen be simetric... so it looks better... (for secret characters too, in case you can put them)

I'm using Mugen Match 2 screenpack, and I have lots of characters, also, I'm trying to find Superman, but I can't find him, anybody have him? (or a link) Also I'm trying to find Neo Dio, if anyone has him email him, I would be very thankful.

the only ones I have worth are Boogy B. (Pretty good, but too small to be hitnormally) and Master Hand (But as a boss I think it flies up all the time...)

Edit: If you or someone could implement a "challenge mode" (separate battles against strange characters with a certain one, in a certain place) I could give LOTS of ideas... a pity that this seems like not happening... (but I would like:))

*the strange ones don't need to be on the list or story mode... If you managed to do the challenge thing, there should be no problem on that :p

In my game, you would expect dramatic music for the boss, but in my game, you fight in space, with this kind of Trance/pop style music. I called the music, "Dreams" you can download it from Limewire, but it's called "Sonic Adventure-Nights Into Dreams" I named it "Dreams" to save writing.

After that, you must edit the select file in your mugen data folder. a-like a-so: you change the randomselect word with the name of the folder where your character's in (ex.: you character's def file or folder name is SuperMario, so you have to change randomselect to SuperMario). Then, place a comma next to it, then place "stages/*stage's def file name*" (without the quotations), or if your character doesn't have a fitting stage, just put "random" (again without the quotations). HTH!

I am terribly sorry if this is a necropost, but does anybody know a way to find out wich keys to push for a certain move for a certain MUGEN character? :confused:

It's okay, this thread keeps getting revived now and then.
Each character you download is supposed to come with a move list notepad file.

Yeah, but some MUGEN characters readme files:

are spanish, and therefore, too illegible to understand;
are japanese, and since my lappy doesn't understand japanese, they have weird and/or misplaced signs;
don't have a movelist at all.

Just open the character's ".cmd" file in notepad, and you'll get the picture.

I think it needs a bit of modification to get Yellow-Pipu and Floren to appear on the select screen, for some reason.

And the controls are somewhat different from usual.
X=Light Attack
Y=Strong Attack
B=Grab
Start=Taunt, sometimes.
A, C, Z=Varies from character to character.

The only way to tell what moves you can do is by looking at the .cmd file. I've already got Think and Takobue worked out.

I'd really like to be able to download a lot of things at once, to get me started (a big contributor to why I didn't keep playing this game is that I had no idea how to expand it beyond characters, and couldn't make it balanced)

IE: I'd love if someone with balanced characters could make a .zip file!

After you've unzipped it in the char folder, you need to edit the select.def file in notepad. It's located in the data folder.
Scroll all the way down until you see kung fu man's name (if there is any). Then, you put the name of your character under there. Save the file, open mugen, go to the select screen and PRESTO! you can now choose goku as your character.

PS.: make sure the folder the character files are in has the same name as the .def file of the character.
