I want you all to post some very funny moments or problems that happened in real life that affected a worms game in some way.

I remember when I used to go to the JCC summer camp - and there was Worms World Party on the computer - Me and 4 others decided to start a game of worms. When we got to the game, one of my opponents aimed the weapon and hit spacebar to fire. However, we didn't know that the spacebar didn't work. So we just ended up watching worms skip rope for 30 seconds each turn. When sudden death came, everybody drowned at once because the worms couldn't get to higher ground - they weren't able to use ninja rope, jet pack, or even teleport. It was a draw, and we ended up doing the same thing for 3 hours until someone finally won.

Imagine - playing worms for 3 hours and all anybody does is skip rope.:o

- they weren't able to use ninja rope, jet pack, or even teleport.Last I remember, Teleport uses the mouse, not the spacebar. Ditto the various Air Strikes.

We only played with indoor terrains and we didn't have any teleports.

What about the time I drowned a worm and another landed on top of him? The bottom worm drowned and exploded. The explosion blasted the other worm off and into the water. The top worm ALMOST made it to land. This was on "The Land That Worms Forgot" in Worms Mayhem.

Uhhh... this is supposed to be FUNNY. Not ENJOYABLE.

This happens a lot. When opposing the computer in WWP, the computer worm launches a grenade straight up with a 4 second fuse, then it comes back down on top of the worm and blows up. Suicidal computer.:o :o :o :o

This is because the calculated flight path is only 1 pixel wide, whereas the collision frame of the grenade sprite is much larger.
The CPU calculates a path that'll fit through the small gap as if it was using a 1 pixel grenade.
It also happens with CPU teams on level 5.
Can help a lot in deatmatches though. :)

So would CPU4 actually be more challenging?

fun for me was finding out that a CPU 2 was the most deadly if weapons were turned up full blast. As CPU 5 would hit you so that you would go into the ground, CPU 2 would hit next to you, and the worm would go flying.

I recently had another.
During a WWP WormNet game, everybody else spontaneously surrendered. Then the round ended - but instead of taking me to the main WormNet screen, it took me to an end of round screen and the computer tries to connect to the other players. The X at the bottom left to quit the game gave me a little window "Are you sure you want to quit the game?" I click yes but nothing happens. I do it again and again. It ends up that the only way to get out was to manually turn off the machine and turn it back on again.

I was playing with my brother's friend, and hw named his team "WE SUCK!"
It came for his first worm's turn, and it said this:
DO NOT FEED
WE SUCK!
The second turn was:
Your mama
WE SUCK!
And then, I read off the team names in order and it was like this:
WE SUCK Dino-Worms Wormies Horsemunch.
We were laughing about that one for the whole time he was here.

Sometimes on Worms 4, my sister and I would do a "mass execution" where we would have 15 worms gather at the top of a cliff, then drop a stick of dynamite on top of them. Hilarious results every time :D

Try using "Vampire" on the Wormpot then go to Unsporting Behaviour. Position two team captains (eg. the first worms on the roster) near a high part of the map. Whenever its their team's turn, switch to them. Use flood until most worms are drowned. Whoever used the killing Flood will gain ridiculous amounts of health

but u can get only 999 hp.

we were getting all toxic barrels to the midle and then we put all worms on it.
one dynamite in the midle and BOOM!! almost all land was gone. we had fun, seeing all those worms fly out fo the skybox. and then we got like 5 awards. :p

We also tried it with HHG, much bigger boom. next time with fatkins strike :p

didnt, know neer tried it. but with health crates u can only get 999 hp.

Well, there was this one time (yesterday) when me and my friend started up W:A with the fiddler on. I was determined to show him my bungeeing skills, so I pressed F8 twice and squirmed off of the cliff. Of course, I hadn't accounted for the fact that I had set the worm gravity to 2 in my fiddle, and that I had double damage on. With a cry of "BUNGEEEEEEeeeeeee..." my worm launched itself off of the cliff....horizontally, due to the gravity. He came hurtling back and I cut the rope, not realising that there was a mine RIGHT NEXT to two oil barrels. In a panic I chose the ninja rope and then I...too late. Soon, my worm was shooting straight up, and flew high for 1024.
Then my friend said: "Ohh, THAT'S what the bungee's for!"
