I finally got the retail version (US) of the game (been playing the demos for a while, excited about the full version!). But when I play on my laptop, which has a native resolution of 1280x800 (wider than a normal monitor), I cannot choose that resolution as an option. The demos would run in 1280x800 -- the retail version won't.

It plays fine at 1024x768, but I'd ratyher play it at the higher, wider resolution. I tried editing the .cfg files in the game directory, but those don't seem to do the trick -- it always reverts to 1024x768. Any ideas?

Specs, for what it's worth:
GeForce4 420 Go, 32M video RAM
Newest available video drivers installed
AMD 2800+
1.25G RAM

i also have he same problem with worms world party, brill game, but ****is me clean off that i cant play in 1280x800 resulution...
