As you can see It's quite clean, I hate drowning in papers and such.

The desk has a little space under the worksurface, I use this to put my Tablet when I'm not using it, or some loose papers I can't file at the moment. It also hides my 3.5 Inch USB disk drive. Or I put my keyboard and mouse there when I need to do some writing, hence the desklight.

The small cabinet, where my HP™PSC 1350 All-in-one is on, contains all of my CD's, CD-ROM's, -RW's, DVD-ROM's and so on.

Also note the mini-whiteboard wich I need because I forget too much too often.

So we can conclude that my desk is in fact a bless :D

The mouse (http://img448.imageshack.us/img448/3520/workstation0055iy.jpg) - Only got this a few weeks back. 'Tis wireless AND optical, a big step up from my previous one :p. Oh, and it's on a piece of paper because the finish on the desk messes with the optical-ness, and makes it go crazy. Plus I like doodling whilst waiting for stuff, and it's handy for jotting things down quickly.

The broken scanner/printer (http://img448.imageshack.us/img448/5840/workstation0066og.jpg) - I broke this by spilling a load of water over the scanner part whilst it was in the middle of scanning. It's now only half the machine it was, but at least it can still print. Oh, and there's my PSP, College timetable, and Sky remote :p

So er... yeah. A bit of a mess :p

That's due to the scan rate of the screen. You'd get the same with any other camera (apart from professional ones). The camera takes a very short time to take the picture, compared to the time it takes your monitor to draw the image. Hence those lines :)

Talking of CD drives and USB fans , here is my original cd player! (http://homepage.ntlworld.com/paul.wallin/images/workstation/cd_player.jpg) which lives on my bedside table, and since it's powered by an old computer power supply, when it gets hot I can open the lid to plug in an old case fan to keep me cool!

And you won't see any tissues by my desk, becuase I'm a hanky user!

Yep, an old 24x CD drive and computer power supply inside an old carboard box. It works quite nicely, you're just limited to Play, Skip Track, Stop and Eject.

Or if your PC is on the floor, put a cushion ontop of them, and since mine has a load of transformers underneath I get a warm cushoin under my desk!

My desk is not messy. I know exactly what is on it and where to find things. I have no requirement for any more space. That, to me, is not a mess.

My tower. Mesh are EVIL dark lords, who can make a computer that:
1) Has rubbish technical support. Everyone at technical support has an outrageous accent like "press the 'tart button" or "Tech. Support: type day." "Us: Day?" "Technical support: Yes. Day for David"
2) ALWAYS breaks down for no apparent reason
3) has NO USB ports on the front, so for memory sticks etc we have to use a USB extention cable :angry:
But at least you don't need a screwdriver to open it...

Just cuz feel like it, I'm gonna ressurect this thread. Note that my desktop pictures are slightly out of date, the laser printer is now finally connected to the new PC, the chair is different, and I have a new game box, and there's different random junk (eg a yoghurt and spoon) on the desk and the password card is gone (dunno where it went) oh yeah, and I fixed the scanner but other than that it's the same :p
