Perhaps I'm wrong but a player can always go back and find a easter egg ot try a challenge over to win a trophy even if everything is unlocked

100 percent games are for if you already beat the game but you unistalled it for. Some people should beat the game witha custom T17 team too. Nobody likes your teams. (just kidding)

I only play the game for the MP, and if I'm too good at the game I can't get my friends to play against me (cuz they have no intention to play the SP part either)... and playing online is no fun, MP is only fun if you know who's a** you're kicking :)

Yes, the missions are extremely boring... unless they have changed the missions in Worms4... It wasn't until recently that I finally finished the first mission in Worms World Party. Until now I just quit the game as soon as I saw the mission, and now I wish that I didn't finish that mission because it was just tooooo boooooring, and it didn't really give me anything except an even more boring mission as the 2nd mission:rolleyes:
And the missions in Worms 3D are almost just as boring, though here I finished most of them just so I could get some maps. But damn that was a let-down. I mean I WASTED lots of time finishing those missions to discover that some of the best maps was only avaliable in the story mode :rolleyes:

Also I have abselutely no intentions to play Worms online with people I don't know, cuz if this forum is anything to go by, then there's not really many people I would like to have as a friend, because the posters here are among the most unfriendly people I've ever met online. For most of the people here it's either you agree with them, or they hate you.
I went to this board to raise a few critiques on what me and most of the people I talk to about Worms don't like about the game, but it seems like most people here don't accept other peoples oppinion, even when what I'm proposing doesn't make Worms worse for them, while it raises the quality of the game for others... basicly it's a win-win situation if Worms includes what I had mentioned before... or at least I have yet to hear a reason why my idea would ever make it worse for anyone...

I'd agree if they were type in funny stuff and get a giant super dooper space ship type cheat, but just getting 100% seems pretty pointless. If you're not going to play online, then most of what is left of the game is playing single player so you've just taken away half the game.

I know worms is a bit different becuase of the hotseat games but the point still rests.

Oh well, too bad. I guess you'll just have to get over it and continue with your life. If you can't be bothered to play single player (which, in my opinion, is pretty easy anyway), then you don't get the maps. You could also use a 100% gamesave, if you must.

I can't say that the randomly generated maps in W4 are good, but damn they sucked in W3

Oh, and I'm not the only one who did that. I know many people who haven't bought W3 or W4 because of this problem... or at least that this problem is one of the reasons for not buying it. It's not the only reason. But without this feature I believe a few more people could have bought the game, also there wasn't wasted any time programming it...

It was the money system. You earn money for doing missions, which you can buy the stuff for. That's pretty much why you have to do SP. As for what's positive about it, I can't really say I know. That maybe because I simply don't care though, I thought single player was fun, somewhat, and there was certainly a thrill in winning what I got.

How much would BF2 have sold if they did the exact same thing as Worms? My guess is that it would have sold less. Sure, the SP campaign would probably be easy to beat since the AI sucks, but it still would be boring for most people. How much fun would it be for the players if they were forced to play SP to enjoy MP?

Booya, thanks mate. Saved me a bunch of time... Remapping keys is a pretty painless thing to have to do, espically scince im saving countless hours trying to unlock stuff. Im only in it for the multiplayer :D Big big thanks, muchly appreciated.

"Mess up our game"? If you use someone else's savegame it's going to toast your existing custom team(s) regardless of where or who you get it from. *oi-vey*. As for the keymap, I don't have the game up ATM, but if I remember correctly you can hit the defaults key to map them back to where they originally were in about 2 seconds.

It's a take it or leave it scenerio, just put it up to help out a few that *really* didn't wish to go thru the time to unlock everything on their own in the SP game. Personally, if your not completely against playing the SP aspect of the game you shouldn't get it anyway as your missing out on a good deal of the fun.

In either case you should back up/rename your existing savegame file so you can do it on your own later should you feel like it, or if it "messes up" your game causing untold devestation to cities and towns resulting in you needing to spend [unacceptable] amounts of time rectifiying the catastrophic FUBARing of your game, then you can simply copy/rename the old file back.

i'd like to dowload and try the 100% savegame. i'm using worms 4 mayhem just for online playing with somefriends, so i don't wanna do alla the mission etc, but the link seems to be broken.

i've tryed some other savegame and i can't understand why even if it is a 100% full save game there are some empty slots in the inventory. can u explain me?

There is ALWAYS a gap in the inventory. I assume you are talking about the very last position. (The bottom-right hand slot). The reason for this is because there aren't enough weapons to fill up the weaons inventory. Easy. I think the empty slot was originally going to have a weapon called the 'pipe gun' in it, but it got removed for some reason and nobody knows what it does.

Well, nobody except Team 17, but they've never told us what it was.

I found the words "concrete_block" in PipeGun.xom, and that made me think that it launches concrete blocks (that would explain the square-shaped cannon).

But it seems that it doesn't. :(

Well, you have found a 100% unlocked savegame, haven't you ? Then, what's the problem ? There will ALWAYS be these empty blocks in the inventory, no way to change that...

as explained in other posts, i was wondering if the save game i found was the correct one or not. so no problem, just a question.
