Hey guys - I am pretty new to Worms World Party, but not that much. Just - I played some with some friends over a year ago, but now I am to buy it for myself.

Just wondered what the awards in post-round menu mean...like:

[Team Name] has turned to the darkside

or

[Worm Name] has turned into a strange yellow colour

Could you explain that darkside thingy!

Gets so insulted by this that he activates using a weapon doesn't end your turn mode, hangs from a ninja rope and start dropping dynamite on his darksiders at tremendous speed. ;)

I beg to differ! Using the darkside may have made you win, but the award just means "Congratulations on being an annoying loser who drills himself out of reach of all other woms and hides away until everyone kills themselves in trying to get to you". Lol, no offense, I've got this myself in the past :P

As for the yellow one - maybe a similar thing, but connected with the phrase "yellow-bellied"? So maybe you get it if you just run away?

You can tell if an award is good or bad by the colour of the text.
Darksider is a bad thing.
I don't know what the 'yellow' thing means.

I believe Darkside just shows a style of playing, and maybe darkside is just more cowardish, but effective, while the other one is full of bravado but more risky! Just shows the playing style of people ;)

And btw - sharpshooter/sniper award is how good you hit, I s'ppose? I got one on 100% yesterday.....

And that "strategy" award is nice too!

I know it's not that. I play matches with absolutely no poisoning (or crate-picking-up) in them whatsoever and I still get the award. I haven't really investigated this, but it could be from killing (or severely hurting) a teammate.

So basically, I still have no clue...

Edit: Can't be that, because I hit 15 worms using a baseball bat in low grav.... Edit again: I have also just put all my teammates into a tight area between two girders and dropped 15 banananananananana bombs on them.... That is my explanation for the yellow color, in case you can't understand me.

Yellow is a color associated with cowardice. That should be enough to tell you what the 'strange yellow colour' award is for.

As for the most entertaining/most boring worm thing. A worm might do interesting enough things to get the most entertaining award, but if he takes the majority of the turn time to do it every time, he's also going to be considered boring for slowing down the pace of the game. At least that was my understanding of the award (can't remember exactly what it does, my other guess is that it comes from using the same type of weapon over and over again).

And worm of the match/most useless worm, it's quite simple. He might have one really great turn that makes him the worm of the match, but his turns weren't consistently useful (ie: missing frequently). Once again, that's my educated analysis from what I read in another thread a long time ago.

Sorry for resurrecting a near-dead thread(YAY! Rhyme!:D) But I've found a couple of new, odd awards... I'm just going to copy-paste the awards from word, so sorry if some of them aren't very odd... The best shot award with 5kills and 4171pts was won by Rocky (Element of Worm) Big Billy's circus award handed to Moony (Element of Worm.)
Turkish Delight (Chocaholics Anon) wins the Florence Nightingale anniversary hot water bottle!(Strangest Award)
Flowy (Element of Worm) turned a strange yellow colour. (ooops'! But I had to prove it existed...)

I'm fairly certain that...

The first one is for using lots of animal weapons.
The second one is for picking up a large number of health crates.
The third is for being a coward.

I placed a Holy under a worm so it got launched into space. The game thought so too and ended with: "NASA greetz SomeWorm (WormTeam) who flew high for 385"
