Hi,

I got problems running the game it starts and the CD runs, but I get the error:

"CD/DVD emualtion software has been detected. Please disable"

I don't have any emulation sofware running? I uninstalled Nero about 3 months ago.

Any ideas??

I'm experiencing the same problem, can you please tell me exactly how you managed to clear it?

I don't think I am using any sort of emulation tool, i don't even know what that is...

I've got the same problem, it does't seem to help, nomatter what kind of burning software I disable. Did anyone find a solutions to this problem? I've read the the solution on changing the regioncode, but that didn't help either..

Hi - I have Windows XP Home Edition (German) and experience the same problem as some others here.
I was able to install "WORMS Forts under Siege" alright but everytime I start it the following error message (dialog box) appears:

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Cannot locate the CD-Rom

CD/DVD emulation software has been detected. Please disable all CD/DVD emulation software and re-start the game
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

I have tried switching the regional settings from Germany to USA as suggested by one user but this did not help.
No emulation program is running on the computer.
I have both a regular CD-Rom (drive D:) and DVD/CD-RW (Drive E:)
the problem persist/occurs independent of where I put the WORMS CD.

I would very much appreciate help from technical support!

If you have CloneCd installed on your PC, just uninstall it. The game will work then...
No comments about what I think about that..

It may have been enough to just not install the virtual drive function.
