I wonder whether it is going to be a extensive 3d editor or more a point'n'click editor? It'll really need some good documentation if its an extensive 3d editor so, that people are aware of the limitations of the game engine. Whereas, a point'n'click type editor could be easier to design to stick within the game engine limitations. I reckon it might be a cross between a warcraftIII style editor and a traditional 3d editor. But, I guess we have to wait and see. It took at least 6 weeks for Relic to release the editor tools for Homeworld 2.

As I recall, it's an adapted version of the editor T17 have been using. Since that was written for use by people who spend all day sat infront of prototype W3D builds, and who need to make the entire game from the ground up, it'll be a fairly comprehensive tool.
I expect the adaptions are to make it simpler to use.
cool. would be nice if you can make the maps bigger. like when you have 4 teams on 1 map their all bunched together and there's not enough room!

The patch includes Game feature additions, Game fix amendments, Network feature additions and Network fix amendments.
Seems not to be in the patch :( ... let hope it comes out soon.
that sux. i'm already losing interest in worms 3d since i can't play online. only had it about 1 week. to tell you the truth i like w2 and WA better.
I reckon it would take too much hard work to make an editor which team17 wont bother iwth cause they dont get paid for it but im sure we will son see an unnoficial editor in about half a year.

i think someone said it wont be that big ( one of the staff ) but apart from that, no specific or approximations regarding size. I hope it isnt more than 50mb, that patch almost killed my dial up

They've confirmed a lot of things.....Take the online play fix, as an example. The game wasn't good, and it didn't get any better.

Forget about it. I did so, and believe me, it's the best way. Just wait for it without making great hopes. Think about Worms 5...

Check thread dates. This has been dead for over 2 years.

i get the feeling that he's hoping that some of his posts will be visible by the people who were here years ago, so that they would know not to keep their hopes up.
