bridges 100%
BIG objects 100%
size of blocks 50-100%
the rest 0%

choose a type of level.
and then start pushing the random button.
look at big objects.
thats the way how I discover new objects!

if anybody is interested in an horror themed level with an mouse on it please say it.

OK guys I've well and truly made a start. I intend to spend about say a month working a bit each day for the terrains, after which time I will have completed them all. Here's how my rating system works: Everything is rated in terms of X - X being the rating of "Kamp Kile". So, a landscape rated X-3 would be 3 points less worthwhile than that landscape. A landscape rated X+2 is 2 points more worthwhile than that landscape. Once I've finished them all I'll put them all into order from best to least good.

The spaces in the numbers sholdn't be put in, they're just there so it's easy to enter the codes. So a code "1234 1234 1234" should be entered "123412341234".

Kamp Kile
England - 6955 4085 - Rating: X - Five islands all connected by bridges with a spade on the first and fifth island.

Pimp War
War - 4348 146 - Rating X-5 - Many islands at varying heights (but mostly constant) with a crashed battleship at the end.

I've found a really weird one, so I just had to sign up to share it with you. The code is: Shogoagogo (Capital S).

Here's a description of it: It's a bridge. No landscape, just a bridge. However, that's not the really amazing bit about it: It's that on both ends of the bridge, there are large spiral staircases that lead to no-where! It's really weird, give it a whirl.

Oh, and put Mines and Oil tanks on; with these, you can rip the staircases and the bridge to shreds in seconds, and belive me, worms are sent flying miles since this level is way up in the air.

Edit: Just looked back and it seems there's one already like it. Dunno if it's any different since it's a different code, though.

The last one i found was "Rogueosb" (no quotes). It consists of two bridges, one of them i had never seen before. Its pirate theme. Its only playable with up to 8 worms, unless you like crowded maps.

Did you know that big maps are the root cause of the game crashing all the time? Your land size has to be 50% or lower. Ask team 17 if you don't believe me. I betcha they clean the bugs out for the yanks version. If they do, I may boycott their future games.

can those with pc version plz post screenshots of levels. And remember you all got like 20 + codes per post. Which one ARE GOOD and whihc ones are average.

I mean i can get a good one then click random a few hundred times and post each one. Nobody has the time to go through them all, wherea one 2 or 3 with maybe a screenie would be much beter IMO.

I was EXTREMELY patient in finding levels that appeal to everyone, as all I did was start the level, check it, then draw round to find another good level after I wrote down the code.

Anyone who has seen my levels,and has a pc, send a screenshot, along with what code it is. These levels really are good. I searched for ages for them, so we could all enjoy them. Trust me for once.

my personal fave is "Sniperontheroof", its just a big arctic level with a variety of islands and objects. Theres also "Boob", which is just a beasty map made up of arctic bridges. And for anybody wanting a terrain with the concrete donkey on, "1299490226". And finally for now, try "Kamp Kile" for a very long map. I'll probably add some more when I remember them

I'd just like to know the strangest, rarest, never-before seen objects people have found with the terrain generator. I would also like to know if it's possible to have the flying saucers from the Alien Juice Suckers level on the lunar landscape. P.S T17 are the worst bunch of games programmers ever. Dock their pay.

I don't remember the codes of the horror buildings, but the code for the rat is Super Sleep:)

Raj Poot is a Horror map with two buidings on it - a windmill and a haunted house.

Rebel Moon is a small deadly map, with 2 islands, a bridge connecting them, and a blimp. The bridge is nearly always mined and barreled, and will go off with the first explosion. The blimp is the safest(?) spot on this little map....

Hey thanks Shadow. That's from Wormsbuzz is it. I'm not being watched now, so I would have posted it myself, but hardly anyone uses this thread now. Also, since I don't have a home PC, I have to rely on the college's instead, which is why I was able to send the code to wormsbuzz, and then save it so I could post the picture. I have more levels with the chicken, but they ain't as good.

Has anyone seen a barn type thing on the horror maps? I sent a code once to wormsbuzz, but they didn't show it. You can use the barn as cover. I've tried to find more levels with it, but gave up after checking about 100 with the random terrain generator. Very rare object in my opinion.

I have a code back home (in college I am) for a level with a church. Problem is, I think I've lost it, and the game won't work properly (Gamecube). It's got marks from my little brother and sister. Works sometimes though.

I reckon that's a sort of payback, because they get a cleaned version of worms and we brits, europe and Australians don't. So we could say like 'ooh look at my ace level. Isn't it just ace? It really is ace is it?' Only thing i hate is the americans have unlimited levels and we don't :( :mad:

P.S I know country names and europe should begin with caps, but i couldn't be bothered to press the Caps Lock button that much.

probably the best way to find new objects is to use the random number and then add something on the end of it, delete a number and then replace it with a letter. that works. another way is to type the first thing that comes into your head.

It works like hex editing. You know how to edit 2D worms missions through hex editing? Open a file with notepad and it'll have info like "sheepstrike=-1" and such. This might be similar.

Let's say that every letter generates something.

The first letter might generate a specific landscape. When you type in "G", it will do one of seven different lanscapes. The next three to eight letters will be objects. Like this "Gegbatmap". So do you think the game will recognize, say, a certain key combination as a certain landscape? So, for instance, S1R4 might get you, perhaps, a sunken ship every time, or a Concrete Donkey? That would be handy to know! I'll do some experimenting on it this afternoon and see what I can find out. :)

It doesn't always work though.

I've done more studying into the possibility that the map generator runs on hexing... See the first line of this message :D.

Anyone tried opening the Worms 3D files with notepad? I find that I get fairly interesting results. The executable, however, just turns up with some odd symbols and that's it.

"Landgen.exe" is a good file to start with.

"fire" (no quotes) its a cool map with a couple islands, wiht one big island with a tunnel through the middle of it...its really cool, try it!!!
"sloppy joe" (no quotes) its a TINY map with a heap of mines and barrels etc, everyone dies pretty much straight out, just a map for nostalgia.

There are others I like, just cant think of them.

I AM THE BEST! - You get thie huge block of land with other smaller islands around it, but on the block there stands a great four-legged land mass! (looks suspisioulsy like a sheep) ;)
Maze Of Tunnels - The same as iamthebest except theres a goat on top.
yellowsubmarine - a large assortment of islands with two swords stuck in the ground. Oh, and there's an ice-cream cone on one island (with flies about).
ihateschool - Loads of islands. One has a cottage-like building on it. The others have either bottles or hourglasses.
RAYSOFsunlight - COOL level. You get lots of islands, 2 ufos, an alien plant thrown in with a funny-shaped land mass and a spaceship!

Hey I found a level like that once, with a small bridge and island in the air. Only problem is I've lost the code. It gives me that nostalgic feeling.

Speaking of rare objects, I've found one for the pirate level. You know Coral Reef level where the concrete donkey is, there's that building with the small arches is there. I found a small level containing that object but at the momeny can't supply the code as it is at home and I'm at college.

comehomeboggyb(or as far as it will go)- this is almost like a mission level. you can jump to most of the islands.

incognito?- flat, lots of bridges.

band aid- three blimps all facing the middle

thiahsatg(an anacronym for they're heroes in a half shell and they're green)- large with lots of hourglasses

On the PC press the 'Print Sceen' button on your keyboard when you want to take a shot. Then open a drawing package like paint (that's what I use) and choose Edit and Paste. Voila! A screenshot is taken. Now all you have to do is save it.

That exact same temple structure shows up if you set everything to 100% and select lunar

I-li is actually my nickname at the Worms 3D multiplayer.

Has anyone tried any of my levels from wormsbuzz yet? One got 4 out of 5. Also, I've found a level with a chiocken on which is also on wormsbuzz. Oh, and for personal use only, I've found some Tiny saucers on the Lunar level, and a building from the OK Corale Reef level. I'll send them here if anyone requests. Can't now though as I'm in college and no home PC :-/

put "level 1" without quotes and a space between

put everything on 100% apart from land size leave it at 50%
and land distance to 75%

this will give you 2 of these objects either end :D

Can someone please try my levels on wormsbuzz? My name there is Jonathan. I feel I'm the only person on the whole of this site who's levels go by unoticed :(

Which has better levels? US or EU version? Someone should start a poll on whether T17 should re-release Worms 3D with everything on and unlimited levels like the US have. Also, they should find a new publisher. Bloody Sega rushing them. It's not fair I tells ya. It's not fair :(

I find it hard to find the rat on the CUBE version because of the landscape bug. Can you find it easier with the numbers higher than the maximum value on the terrain generator?

I don't think so. The rat seems to be a rare-ish object (i've only found it a couple of times), but when it does appear it is when the Large Objects is set to 100%. You'll just have to keep fiddling with the generator on Horror, and you'll get one eventually.

... what? the two versions have different level sets? :eek: ... it's cause the us version has been released after the eu one, isn't it?

They have the same levels. All that is different is that the American version has a patch already on it.
