One of things I like so much about WA, is the training disciplines. Yeah I know there is already the basic training in the campaign, but I mean like the grenade throwing exercises or the shotgun exercises, so you could practice, and get better so you stand more of a chance in the campaign,

I would like to see something like this in Worms Revolution, another single player option, training, where you can train by hitting targets or collecting crates with the numerous weapons, to practice for your next big online match or that long campaign mission you keep failing.

Please consider this for the next update, we would love it!

when playing the campaign I try and rotate my worm order based off the enemies turn order. I use one of each worm. I believe the first couple missions are designed to tell you exactly which weapon you are supposed to be trained on. If you look at some of the top times on the leaderboards, I believe it should give you some sort of insight as to target times for each level. It is up to the wormer to decipher the correct weapon and worm order. Hope that helps with your training.

Well, I was going make a new thread about this, but I guess I'll stick it here:

Anyway, after the release of Revolution, I was excited, well, we all were, and I said that Revolution was my favorite worms, even over Armageddon, but much later after release I've realized Armageddon still stands over all, because:

Training Disciplines! I loved these! You could just practice practice and practice.
Weapons! I'm still sure Armageddon has the most weapons out of ANY worms game, and that's one of the things that made it great! Going for crates was so much fun because you could get so many special weapons!
Unlockables! Sure, unlocking nice clothing and trinkets is nice, but there's nothing more satisfying than unlocking the Jetpack and the Aqua sheep and every other fun weapon you could unlock, and of course, FULL WORMAGE.
Physics! Out of all the games, I must say Worms Armageddon has the BEST PHYSICS! Explosions sent worms FLYING, and that was always so much fun for me when I play the game.
Campaign! I love the voice overs you got, but Worms Armageddon had over 40 missions! 40! Forty! That is a lot! Also, I find it boring how each mission is a deathmatch... that's, well, boring!
Voices! Don't get me wrong, I like the Worms Revolution voices, but the Armageddon voices were irreplaceable!

I got keep going, it's just that, Worms Revolution has so much potential, in fact, every worms game does, but sometimes you have to go old-school and have it a little more like the older games.

Wow: someone on an internet message board finding a relevent thread and using it instead of just creating a new one. Sir, I salute you.
